The filing lists the marriage as “irretrievably broken.” Ashley has requested a no-fault divorce but asked for a decree to be issued after 90 days if both sides agree.

Since the breakup, Ashley has been holed up in the couple’s $1.3 million Society Hill home, with food deliveries spotted at her door and friends arriving with suitcases for support.

Days earlier, she shared a selfie walking through a park while Beyoncé’s Freedom played. Another post featured an inspirational quote set to Lauryn Hill’s Freedom Time.

While Ashley has generally stayed out of politics, this divorce drama lands at a time when her father’s legacy is being publicly dismantled. President Trump’s allies have seized on the scandal as another example of the Bidens’ “chaotic family image,” a narrative that dogged Joe Biden during his White House years amid Hunter Biden’s legal troubles.
