World War III has Already Begun According to JP Morgan Boss

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase, issued a stark warning at the recent Institute of International Finance event: the world may already be in the early stages of World War III.

His alarm comes amid the escalating conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, which he believes signal a broader, interconnected threat. Dimon cautioned, “World War III has already begun. You already have battles on the ground being coordinated in multiple countries.”

Dimon’s concerns aren’t new. He has previously called Russia, North Korea, and Iran an “evil axis,” joined by China, in actively seeking to weaken institutions like NATO and disrupt global stability. “And they’re talking about doing it now,” he emphasized, highlighting the urgency of the situation. “They’re not talking about waiting 20 years. And so the risk of this is extraordinary if you read history.”

To Dimon, it’s not a question of if, but when this global threat could reach a breaking point. He urged America not to turn a blind eye, saying, “What we should be thinking about is we can’t take the chance this will resolve itself. We have to make sure that we are involved in doing the right things to get it resolved properly.”

While Dimon left room for hope that tensions might ease, he acknowledged the darker scenarios JP Morgan has been preparing for. “We run scenarios that would shock you. I don’t even want to mention them,” he admitted. One of his top fears? Russia’s nuclear threats. “We’ve never had a situation where a man is threatening nuclear blackmail,” he said, adding, “If that doesn’t scare you, it should.”

Nuclear proliferation, Dimon warned, is the “biggest risk mankind faces” — more dangerous, he believes, than climate change. “It’s just a matter of time before these things are going off in major cities around the world,” Dimon stated. “We’ve got to be very careful about what we’re trying to accomplish in the next couple of years.”

Political science professor Paul Beck of Ohio State University found merit in Dimon’s concerns, though he stopped short of calling a third world war inevitable. Beck observed, “Now things appear to have heated up again with Russia over Ukraine and Russian efforts to influence American elections.”

Donald Trump, the former president and current top Republican candidate, echoed these concerns recently, saying the United States is “very close to a global catastrophe.” Following Iran’s recent missile strikes on Israel, Trump reminded his audience in Waunakee, Wisconsin, of his longstanding warnings. “I’ve been talking about World War III for a long time,” Trump said. “But they are very close to global catastrophe.”

As president, Trump had taken a hard stance against Iran, imposing tough sanctions and ending the Iran nuclear deal signed by the Obama administration. “When I was president, Iran was in total check,” Trump said. “The Iranians were starved for cash. Nobody was buying their oil. But ever since, Iran has been exporting terror all over the world, and it’s been just unraveling.”

With global tensions rising and leaders sounding the alarm, it’s a time for America to consider its place in an increasingly unstable world.
