Iranian Plot to Assassinate Donald Trump Unmasked

A startling assassination plot has come to light, allegedly orchestrated by Iranian forces with chilling aims: the murder of President-Elect Donald Trump and a prominent Iranian-American journalist.

The suspect at the heart of this conspiracy has been unmasked for the first time, as new details shake both Washington and the global community.

Last week, U.S. authorities disclosed that they had thwarted an Iranian-backed plan involving a hired assassin. The criminal charges, recently unsealed, identify the suspect as 49-year-old Carlisle “Pop” Rivera from Brooklyn, New York.

Prosecutors claim Rivera was hired to surveil and kill both Trump and Masih Alinejad, a well-known critic of the Iranian regime and journalist with Voice of America.

Web of Intrigue: Connections to Tehran

According to officials, Rivera was recruited by Farjad Shakeri, a purported intermediary acting on behalf of an organization officially labeled as a terrorist entity in the United States.

Shakeri is accused of orchestrating the assassination scheme, intending to strike before the November election. If the attack couldn’t be completed in time, the group allegedly planned to wait and see if a Trump defeat would present a more opportune moment.

Rivera’s background adds to the story’s complexity. Images from his Facebook page portray a blue-collar life: the Brooklyn-born pipe fitter, often seen in work gear, posing at construction sites.

He’s shown sporting a New York Knicks hat in one snapshot and bandana-clad behind the wheel in another. But beneath this seemingly everyday exterior, authorities allege, lurked a hired gun awaiting orders.

A Chilling Expansion of Targets

While Rivera was already shadowing Masih Alinejad for an alleged assassination, the conspiracy widened to include Donald Trump. Prosecutors allege that Rivera was promised $100,000 to execute the journalist, but his mission shifted dramatically. “The plot against Trump would have been the third attempt on his life in just 100 days,” the complaint notes, adding a dangerous level of urgency to the case.

Shakeri, reportedly hiding in Tehran, is said to have been a familiar acquaintance of Rivera from prison. The scheme deepened when Rivera allegedly enlisted Staten Island resident Jonathon Loadholt, who was ready to assist in executing the assassination.

Direct Threats and Defiant Responses

The alleged involvement of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has raised alarm at the highest levels. Speaking to the press, Attorney General Merrick Garland did not mince words: “There are few actors in the world that pose as grave a threat to the national security of the U.S. as does Iran.”

For Alinejad, the revelations were deeply personal and terrifying. “I know the nature of the Islamic Republic: they kill anyone who dares challenge them,” she said. “Whatever I do hurts them really bad and makes them want to kill me.” Her fearless journalism has made her a perpetual target, yet she remains resolute.

So far, Donald Trump’s representatives have stayed silent, as the case exposes chilling layers of international plotting. With threats that span from New York streets to Tehran’s corridors of power, this saga underscores the extraordinary lengths adversaries may go to in pursuit of political vendettas.

  1. Since the rise of the Ayatolla and the fall of the Shah , Iran has consistently demonstrated that her leaders are dangerous and a threat to world peace . The fantasizing of Islam as the one true religion harkens back to to the fanatics of the Crusades where two faiths vied for dominance believing that they were the one true faith . They may soon find themselves the biggest glass factory on earth as the majority of the world is getting fed up with their antics .

  2. I still have not come to some understanding as to why at the top of the year Jimmy Carter promised not to abandon the Shaw of Iran, and by the end of the year, neither the Shaw or the Carter was heard from.

  3. I believe an episode on the Simpsons shared President Trumps Election Win as 47th and also Assassination of President Trump!!!!!

  4. Is it an Iranian plot or is it that there is somebody, somewhere needing a scapegoat in case the grapes go sour!?
