In a move critics say amounts to a cover-up of cognitive decline, sources close to the Biden administration have come forward with stunning claims: Joe Biden’s team allegedly spent millions of taxpayer dollars sending the president on lavish foreign trips — not for diplomacy, but to keep him out of public sight as his memory deteriorated behind closed doors.
Multiple insiders familiar with internal operations tell American Sentinel News that the former president’s extensive travel schedule was no coincidence — it was strategic.
“There was a conscious effort to reduce his time in the White House,” one D.C. staffer revealed. “The goal was to limit his exposure — physically and politically. Every trip, every hotel stay, it added up to a carefully choreographed distraction from what was happening behind the scenes: the president was slipping.”
According to a deep-dive into newly released federal documents, Biden’s international travel costs exceeded $8 million between 2022 and 2023. Much of that included high-end hotel stays, private security, and luxury accommodations — including an infamous $50,000 stay at actor Robert De Niro’s Nobu hotel in Warsaw, Poland.
The alleged cover-up coincides with a growing body of evidence pointing to Biden’s cognitive struggles.
In a now-infamous October 2023 interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, Biden reportedly failed to recall when he served as vice president or the year of his son Beau’s death. Hur’s blunt assessment — later included in his February 2024 report — described Biden as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
Despite this, Hur declined to press charges over Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, stating it would be difficult to convince a jury to convict “a forgetful old man.”
Biden, then 82, lashed out at the characterization. “My memory is fine,” he claimed defiantly in a press conference. Yet voters — and members of his own party — were shaken.
The real cost of Biden’s globe-trotting wasn’t just financial — it may have been political damage control masquerading as diplomacy.
One Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request uncovered Biden’s visit to De Niro’s Nobu Warsaw cost exactly $50,712.35 for a single night — covering Biden, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and their entourage. The full Poland trip rang up at nearly $730,000 in hotel expenses alone.
But it gets worse.
A three-day trip to Jerusalem in July 2022 cost taxpayers more than $1.2 million — including nearly $800,000 on hotel stays. That trip, like others, was officially labeled a “diplomatic visit,” but insiders say it had just as much to do with keeping Biden off-camera and away from Oval Office duties.
Republican lawmakers are now demanding a formal investigation into what they call “intentional misrepresentation of the president’s medical capacity.”
“This wasn’t just expensive,” said Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC). “This looks like taxpayer-funded concealment. Americans deserve to know if our commander-in-chief was being hidden from view because he was unfit to serve.”
Some sources speculate that First Lady Jill Biden played a pivotal role in shielding the president, even as family tensions grew — including from Hunter Biden, who has privately criticized Jill for “letting this happen.”
If proven true, the travel strategy could rank among the most expensive political cover-ups in modern history.
“This was not leadership. This was an orchestrated vanishing act,” one Republican strategist said. “And we all paid for it.
