Emaciated Israeli Hostage Forced to Dig Own Grave in Chilling Terror Video

Under President Trump’s renewed global leadership, America has once again been confronted with the brutal reality of radical Islamic terror — this time in the form of a disturbing propaganda video released by Hamas.

The footage, broadcast from the depths of a Gaza terror tunnel, shows 24-year-old Israeli hostage Evyatar David, gaunt and hollow-eyed, being forced to dig what he calls his “own grave” — a sick psychological weapon wielded by Iran-backed militants. It’s a scene ripped straight from a nightmare: a starving young man scratching dates into a calendar, clutching a can of beans — his only food for two days.

“This is the grave I think I’m going to be buried in,” David says grimly. “Time is running out.”

The video, nearly five minutes long, was released by Hamas on August 1 and has sparked global outrage — especially among Americans who remember the horrors of ISIS hostage videos and the Obama-era appeasement of Middle Eastern terror.

David, kidnapped during the October 7, 2023 massacre — the bloodiest day for Jews since the Holocaust — has now become a chilling symbol of Hamas’s depravity and the cost of delay in action.

David’s family allowed the video to be publicized in hopes of waking the world up.

“We are forced to witness our beloved son deliberately and cynically starved in Hamas’s tunnels,” his family wrote. “A living skeleton, buried alive. The starvation is part of their propaganda machine — and the world must not look away.”

Holocaust survivor Naftali Fürst drew a haunting connection between history and now:

“I survived Auschwitz and Buchenwald. I know what it is to be starved and humiliated. Watching this video brings it all back. This is evil.”

President Donald J. Trump, speaking at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago, didn’t mince words:

“The fastest way to stop the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is for Hamas to surrender and release the hostages — every last one. These monsters don’t want peace. They want death. But we will not allow it.”

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) called the footage “a grotesque reminder” of the enemy Israel and the U.S. face.

“These Iran-funded cowards are starving innocent people for 666 days. It ends when the last hostage walks free — and Hamas is wiped from the map.”

Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) echoed the sentiment, slamming the Biden-era policies that emboldened Hamas before Trump’s 2024 victory:

“Weak leadership paved the way for this horror. President Trump is correcting that. Under his command, America is standing firmly with Israel again — and that’s exactly where we belong.”

Even some Democrats, like Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.), broke ranks with their party’s recent flirtations with pro-Palestinian activists.

“I stand with the families of these hostages. Hamas must disarm and end this hell now.”

Hamas, fully funded and armed by the Iranian regime, has long used civilian suffering and hostage torture as strategic weapons. Now, their propaganda is aimed at turning global attention away from their crimes and toward blaming Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the video “proof of Hamas’s inhumanity,” describing the deliberate starvation and humiliation of hostages as “a war crime.”

Despite that, the usual crowd of international critics have turned their outrage toward Israel. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot called the images “unbearable,” but stopped short of naming Hamas the culprit. Meanwhile, Israel continues to allow increased humanitarian aid into Gaza — a move some conservatives say only rewards Hamas’s terror playbook.

While activists scream “genocide” at Israel, reports show at least 115 Palestinians have starved to death — not due to Israeli strikes, but because Hamas hoards aid, diverts food, and turns tunnels into arsenals, not shelters.

And yet, 20 hostages remain alive, according to Israeli intel. Another 30 are believed dead. With every day that passes, hope dims.

A second video this week showed another hostage, Rom Braslavski, also visibly malnourished.

“To remain silent now is to be complicit,” said David’s brother, Ilay, at a rally in Tel Aviv. “We are burying them with our apathy.”

U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, handpicked by President Trump, told the hostages’ families that a resolution may be near — but “no piecemeal deals” will be accepted. “We’re not going to cut deals with terrorists,” a senior administration source told Patriot Watch News. “We’re going to end them.”

With Trump back in the Oval Office, Americans can rest assured: the era of appeasing terrorists is over.

As David’s haunting words echo across the world — “Time is running out” — the clock is ticking not just for him, but for Hamas.

And this time, America is watching.
