Trump Makes Shocking Announcement on Autism (Video)

President Donald Trump shook the medical establishment on Monday with a bombshell announcement from the White House: the nation’s most widely used painkiller, Tylenol, may be contributing to the surge in autism among American children.

“Taking Tylenol during pregnancy can be associated with a very increased risk of autism,” Trump declared in the Roosevelt Room, flanked by top health officials. “The meteoric rise in autism is one of the most alarming public health developments in history. There’s never been anything like it.”

Trump said the Food and Drug Administration will now recommend that doctors urge pregnant women to avoid acetaminophen unless absolutely necessary, calling it “a matter of protecting our future generations.”

Tylenol, manufactured by Kenvue, has long been marketed as the safest option for expectant mothers. But Trump dismissed that claim.

“So taking Tylenol is not good,” he said flatly. “We want mothers to know the risks, and we want babies to have the best chance.”

The president also warned about the dangers of over-vaccinating infants. “It’s too much, too soon. When you look at it, it’s like 80 different vaccines pumped into a baby that’s so small,” Trump said, echoing concerns from parents who have long suspected links between medical overreach and developmental disorders.

Dr. Marty Makary, Trump’s FDA Commissioner, backed up the president’s claims. “We now have data we cannot ignore,” he said, citing evidence from the Boston Birth Cohort, the Nurses’ Health Study, and Mount Sinai-Harvard. “These studies point to a causal relationship between prenatal acetaminophen use and autism spectrum disorder, as well as ADHD.”

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the administration has “turned over every stone” to expose the environmental and pharmaceutical roots of autism.

“For years, the NIH was chasing genetics while ignoring the obvious environmental triggers,” Kennedy blasted. “That would be like studying the genetic drivers of lung cancer without ever looking at cigarettes.”

Kenvue, Tylenol’s parent company, fired back within hours of the announcement, saying they “strongly disagree” with the Trump administration.

“Independent, sound science clearly shows that acetaminophen does not cause autism,” a company spokesperson said. “We are deeply concerned about the unnecessary fear this could cause for expecting mothers.”

According to a CDC survey released earlier this year, autism rates have continued to rise. One in 31 eight-year-olds was diagnosed in 2022, compared to one in 36 in 2000.

The CDC attributed the increase partly to improved diagnostic practices, but Trump and Kennedy insist the problem is far bigger — and more sinister.

“This is coming from an environmental toxin,” Kennedy warned at an April press conference. “Somebody made a profit putting that toxin into our medicines, food, water, and air. And then they tell us it’s normal. It’s not normal.”

Monday’s announcement followed Trump’s vow at Charlie Kirk’s memorial service that he would unveil “one of the biggest medical announcements in history.”

True to his word, the president promised his administration would accelerate research, break down bureaucratic silos, and deliver answers to parents who feel ignored.

“Our kids deserve better,” Trump said. “We’re going to protect American families, and we’re going to get the truth.”
