‘I Need Help!’: Adopted Son Brutally Kills Parents in Florida Horror Scene

A Florida murder trial is exposing the haunting details of a family tragedy that stunned neighbors and friends alike.

Dima Tower, 24, is accused of slaughtering his adoptive parents, Robbie and Jennifer Tower, inside their North Port home in 2023 — leaving behind what investigators described as a “blood-soaked” scene straight out of a nightmare.

According to court documents, police raced to the house after a neighbor called 911, saying a woman had come to her door screaming, “I need help!” But by the time the neighbor opened up, the woman was gone — and all that remained was a trail of blood leading back to the Towers’ home.

When officers arrived, they found Dima covered in blood and bolted from the scene, triggering a police chase before his arrest. Inside the home, the horror deepened: Robbie and Jennifer were discovered lying “head-to-head,” face down, surrounded by blood. Investigators say every room — from the living room couches to the kitchen — showed signs of a violent struggle.

The couple had adopted Dima from Ukraine in 2016 when he was just 14. Their Facebook pages once showed smiles, family trips, and posts about faith and hope for Ukraine. Now, those memories stand in stark contrast to the tragedy that followed.

Court records also reveal a history of violence. In 2020, Dima was arrested for domestic violence after allegedly throwing a victim across the kitchen, leaving her bleeding. The case was later dismissed, but prosecutors now say it showed a dangerous pattern.

Robbie, 49, and Jennifer, 51, were beloved in their community — remembered for their humor, kindness, and devotion to each other. Jennifer loved bird watching; Robbie was known for his big laugh and easygoing nature.

Dima has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder. His defense team plans to argue for a lesser manslaughter charge, claiming the killings weren’t premeditated.

No clear motive has emerged — only heartbreak and unanswered questions.
