Sixty-two years after shots rang out in Dallas, a leading forensic doctor has dropped a bombshell that could rewrite history.
Dr. David Mantik, a California-based radiation oncologist who’s spent decades studying President John F. Kennedy’s autopsy files, now says the official story doesn’t add up. His claim? JFK was actually shot from the front — not behind.
“The X-rays show tiny metallic particles on the right side of Kennedy’s forehead — evidence that can only come from a frontal shot,” Mantik told RadarOnline.com. “There’s also a keyhole-shaped fracture on the right temple, consistent with an entry wound. It’s right there on the film.”
The government’s Warren Commission long insisted that Lee Harvey Oswald fired from behind the president as his motorcade passed the Texas School Book Depository. But Mantik says the medical images tell a different story — one involving multiple shooters and three deadly headshots.
“There was no single fatal bullet,” he said. “Three separate headshots struck Kennedy. Any one of them could have been fatal. These were professional assassins — they couldn’t afford to fail.”
Adding more fuel to the decades-long mystery, retired Air Force intelligence officer-turned-historian Ralph Ganis backs Mantik’s findings and insists Oswald was innocent — a scapegoat framed by a shadowy government team.
“Oswald was manipulated by people posing as federal agents,” Ganis told RadarOnline.com. “He thought he was helping protect the president. Instead, he was set up to take the blame.”
According to Ganis, Oswald — desperate to clear a dishonorable discharge from the Marines — agreed to position himself along the Dallas parade route, believing it might earn him redemption. But when Kennedy was struck, he realized he’d been double-crossed.
“He thought he was with the good guys,” Ganis said. “When he saw the president fall, he panicked — he finally knew he’d been betrayed.”
Oswald never got the chance to explain his side — gunned down by nightclub owner Jack Ruby on live TV just two days later.
Now, as America marks 62 years since the tragedy, these new claims add another twist to the nation’s most haunting mystery. Was there more than one shooter on that fateful November day in 1963? And if so — who really pulled the trigger?

Ever since I watched the Zapruder film years ago I’ve believed he had to have been shot from the front. Why? Because that that was the only explanation for his wife to reach over the trunk lid to get a piece of his head. In that same film his body was moving to the rear indicating that he had to have been shot from the front.
