King Charles Makes Shocking Decision to ‘Back’ Police Investigation into Andrew

King Charles III is publicly throwing his support behind British police as they dig into explosive new allegations tied to his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor — the former Prince Andrew.

Buckingham Palace issued a rare statement Monday, saying Charles is “deeply concerned” about reports that Andrew shared confidential trade information with Jeffrey Epstein back in 2010. Thames Valley Police confirmed they’re now reviewing the claims after emails surfaced suggesting Andrew funneled details from a Southeast Asia trade trip directly to Epstein while serving as the UK’s special representative for international trade.

“The King has made clear his profound concern,” the Palace said, adding that the monarchy will fully cooperate if asked. The Palace also emphasized that their “sympathies remain with victims of any and all forms of abuse.”

The renewed scrutiny comes as millions of pages of Epstein-related documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice continue to spark international fallout. Among them, journalists uncovered dozens of email exchanges between Andrew and Epstein — many sent after Epstein’s 2008 conviction.

The controversy escalated even further when a U.S. attorney announced he represents a woman who claims Epstein trafficked her to Britain to have sex with Andrew at Royal Lodge, the disgraced royal’s longtime home.

Anti-monarchy activist Graham Smith, who reported Andrew to police for potential misconduct and violations of the Official Secrets Act, says the emails mirror allegations already being investigated against former U.S. ambassador Peter Mandelson. Police confirmed they’ve received the complaint and are reviewing it.

Meanwhile, the political shockwaves are hitting 10 Downing Street too. Betting markets show rising odds that Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer could lose his job over the decision to appoint Mandelson as ambassador to the U.S. despite his Epstein ties. Prediction market Kalshi now puts Starmer’s chances of stepping down before March 1 at 23 percent.

The turmoil has also reignited questions about King Charles’ decision to boot Andrew from Royal Lodge. The eviction, originally planned for later this year, was fast-tracked amid public anger over Andrew living on a taxpayer-funded estate while no longer serving as a working royal.

Andrew has since relocated to a smaller home on the privately owned Sandringham Estate — a move that avoids public funding.

Prince William and Princess Catherine released their own statement Monday, saying they are “deeply concerned” by the latest revelations.

Andrew was pushed out of royal life in 2019 after his disastrous BBC interview defending his friendship with Epstein. He was eventually stripped of all remaining titles and military affiliations in 2025. He now goes by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and no longer uses “His Royal Highness.”

Buckingham Palace has repeatedly said these decisions were made to protect the monarchy’s integrity and restore public trust.
