Fox News Reporter Gets Body Slammed by Wrestler on Live TV

Fox News reporter Abby Hornacek proved she is not afraid to mix it up on live television after taking a brutal-looking body slam from wrestler Kennedy Blades during a Saturday morning segment that had viewers doing a double take.

The wild moment unfolded on Fox & Friends as Hornacek helped preview the Real American Freestyle wrestling event set for later that night in Tampa, Florida. What started as a fun in-studio demonstration quickly turned into one of those live TV moments people will be talking about long after the cameras stopped rolling.

Blades, who is slated to face Milana Dudieva at the event, decided to give Hornacek a firsthand look at the move she plans to use in the ring. That move was a suplex, and while Hornacek admitted she was feeling nervous before it happened, she still went through with it like a pro.

Then came the jaw-dropping moment.

Blades lifted the Fox News reporter off the ground and flipped her over in a hard-looking takedown that sent Hornacek crashing face-first onto the mat. It looked rough on camera and easily could have gone much worse if there had not been padding underneath her.

But in true fighter fashion, Hornacek did not stay down.

Instead, she jumped right back up, smiled, and high-fived Blades as if getting thrown to the floor on national television was just another day at the office. She later called the experience “cool” online, showing she took the stunt in stride and earned plenty of respect for doing it.

The shocking segment also gave viewers a reminder of just how dangerous the sport can be. Blades is no amateur. She is the Real American Freestyle women’s middleweight champion, won a silver medal in freestyle wrestling at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and added a bronze medal at the 2025 World Championships.

That made Hornacek’s willingness to step onto the mat with her even more impressive.

In an era when so many TV segments feel overly polished and predictable, this one brought real energy, real risk, and a Fox News reporter who showed she can take a hit and keep smiling. For conservative viewers who appreciate grit, toughness, and old-fashioned fearlessness, Hornacek delivered a moment worth cheering for.
