Jill Biden Rips Kamala Harris Over 2024 Power Play

Jill Biden is reopening one of the Democratic Party’s most uncomfortable wounds, and this time, Kamala Harris is directly in the line of fire.

In her upcoming memoir, View from the East Wing, the former first lady reportedly accuses Harris of acting like a “courtroom prosecutor” during a tense phone call on July 21, 2024, after Joe Biden informed his vice president that he was ending his re-election campaign.

The moment was already historic. Biden’s campaign had collapsed under mounting pressure from Democrats, donors, and the media after months of questions about his age, stamina, and ability to defeat Donald Trump.

But according to Jill Biden, the private conversation that followed was not exactly warm or sentimental.

Instead, Harris allegedly moved quickly from shock to strategy.

“Oh my God, Joe. Are you sure?” Harris reportedly said when Biden told her he was dropping out.

But the conversation soon turned to one critical question: when would Biden endorse her?

According to an excerpt published by USA Today, Biden initially suggested waiting until the next morning before making a public endorsement. Harris allegedly pushed back.

“I want it sooner,” she reportedly said.

Biden then told Harris he would call her back once he figured out the timing. But Jill claims Harris kept pressing.

“Could you do it soon? Say, in 20 minutes?” Harris allegedly asked.

Jill wrote that the exchange made Harris sound like “a courtroom prosecutor,” a stinging description that suggests the Biden family still has deep frustrations with the woman Joe ultimately elevated to the national ticket.

Jill said she eventually walked out of the room as the conversation continued.

Despite the apparent tension, Biden endorsed Harris roughly 30 minutes after announcing he was ending his campaign. The move effectively cleared the Democratic field and helped Harris avoid a messy fight for the nomination just weeks before the party’s convention in Chicago.

For Democrats, the endorsement was presented publicly as a clean handoff. Behind the scenes, Jill Biden’s account suggests it may have been far more strained.

The new claims also revive long-running questions about the relationship between Harris and the Biden family.

The tension dates back to the 2019 Democratic primary, when Harris delivered one of the most damaging attacks of Biden’s campaign. During a debate, she confronted him over his past opposition to federally mandated busing programs designed to desegregate schools.

The moment stunned Biden and quickly became one of the most talked-about exchanges of the primary.

It also reportedly infuriated Jill.

Days later, Jill defended her husband during a call with supporters and blasted Harris for the attack.

“With what he cares about, what he fights for, what he’s committed to, you get up there and call him a racist without basis? Go f— yourself,” Jill reportedly said at the time.

That bitterness apparently did not disappear after Biden won the nomination.

Previous reports claimed Jill was strongly opposed to choosing Harris as Biden’s running mate, questioning why the campaign would reward someone who had publicly attacked him on one of the biggest debate stages in the country.

“There are millions of people in the United States,” Jill reportedly said. “Why do we have to choose the one who attacked Joe?”

Now, years later, Jill’s memoir is pulling those tensions back into the spotlight.

For a Democratic Party that spent 2024 insisting it was united behind Harris after Biden’s exit, the former first lady’s account paints a much messier picture: a rushed endorsement, a power struggle behind closed doors, and years of bad blood that never fully healed.

  1. Jill Biden is the epitome of a crazed liberal who craved power and forced her husband to continue as President all the while he was slipping in to an incomprehensible situation of not being able yo complete his thoughts. She was probably paid handsomely and so pushed Joe to continue. Even now she lies about his slipping and his inability to realize he needs and needed help. As for Kamala, her salad talk was a long disaster and the two women clashed.
