President Donald Trump may be preparing to do what generations of Americans have begged Washington to do for decades: finally tell the public what the government knows about UFOs.
According to filmmaker and UFO researcher Mark Christopher Lee, Trump has a major speech on extraterrestrials “ready to go,” and insiders in Washington are allegedly bracing for a stunning disclosure that could shake up the country’s understanding of what has been hidden in the shadows for nearly 80 years.
“People I have spoken with in Washington have told me that a speech on the topic has been prepared and is ready to go,” Lee told the Daily Mail. “Whether it happens tomorrow or in the coming days, it appears imminent.”
Lee, who has previously claimed to have insight into Trump’s UFO disclosure plans, said the speech could represent a historic turning point in the long-running fight for government transparency. For decades, Americans have heard rumors, watched grainy military footage, and listened to whistleblowers insist that the truth is being buried deep inside the federal bureaucracy.
Now, according to Lee, Trump may be the president willing to rip the lid off.
The alleged speech was reportedly expected by some to surface during the NATO summit in Turkey, though that did not happen. Trump attended the summit on Wednesday, July 8, a date that carried symbolic weight for UFO believers. It marked the 79th anniversary of the infamous Roswell incident, when officials initially said they had recovered a “flying disc” before later walking back the claim.
Roswell has since become the centerpiece of America’s UFO mythology, fueling decades of speculation that the government recovered alien technology, or possibly more, and covered it up.
According to Lee, Trump’s supposed speech would revisit several major UFO cases from the last eight decades, including Roswell and more recent military encounters involving fighter jets in 2015. Those incidents, which captured the attention of the public after footage and testimony emerged in recent years, have become key evidence for those demanding answers from the Pentagon.
Lee claimed the speech would go even further by confirming that some of these incidents involved objects of “non-human origin,” allegedly after testing had been conducted.
If true, that would be one of the most explosive admissions ever made by a sitting U.S. president.
“The text claims Trump would explain past secrecy, announce declassification steps, a new interagency task force, and international cooperation — while stating this is ‘not a threat, but an opportunity to unite humanity,’” Lee claimed.
That kind of message would fit squarely into Trump’s long-running argument that Americans deserve to know what their government is doing behind closed doors, especially when unelected officials, intelligence agencies, and Pentagon insiders have kept tight control over some of the nation’s most sensitive secrets.
Lee said his information came from several sources, including TV producer David Broadwell, who worked on the paranormal series Beyond Skinwalker Ranch. Broadwell allegedly said his own Washington sources were “all talking about this speech,” prompting him to share what he had heard with prominent UFO researchers.
Another figure reportedly connected to the claims is billionaire businessman Robert Bigelow, known for his work in space technology and his long-standing interest in UFO research. Lee claimed Bigelow has privately taken credit for pushing Trump to prepare the potential bombshell address.
The latest claims come just weeks after the Pentagon released a third batch of UFO-related videos and documents following Trump’s order to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to begin making more files public.
One of the most chilling encounters in that release reportedly involved several federal officials who witnessed strange orbs near what was described as a “sensitive national security site” over two days in October 2023.
The Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office described witnesses seeing what appeared to be “orbs launching other orbs.”
According to the report, witnesses described orange “mother orbs” appearing briefly before releasing clusters of two to four red “orbs” and then disappearing. The red objects were described as moving in unusual ways, including coordinated horizontal motion and apparent changes in altitude.
Another file reportedly included a 2025 video involving an eyewitness who saw an intense bright light in their backyard after returning home from work. The unknown object was described as a “brilliant red sphere.”
Trump has previously spoken openly about the UFO mystery, even while making clear that he has not always been convinced.
During a 2024 appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Trump said there was “no reason” not to believe there could be other beings beyond humans. Still, he admitted he had never been fully sold on the idea.
“They told me a lot,” Trump said at the time. “I have to be honest. I have never been a believer.”
He also brought up Area 51, the highly classified Air Force facility in Groom Lake, Nevada, that has long been at the center of theories about alien technology and government cover-ups.
For skeptics, Lee’s claims will sound like yet another UFO rumor waiting to fizzle. For believers, however, the idea that Trump may have a disclosure speech prepared is exactly the kind of moment they have been waiting for.
And for Americans tired of being told to trust Washington while being kept in the dark, the timing could not be more dramatic.
If Trump does move forward, the speech would not just be about aliens. It would be about secrecy, power, and whether the American people are finally allowed to hear the truth.
