Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Wild Ten Man Brawl

An easyJet flight packed with vacationers was forced to make an emergency landing after a wild 10-person brawl allegedly broke out in the cabin, turning a routine trip from sunny Tenerife into a midair nightmare.

Flight EZY3352 had taken off from the Spanish island on Tuesday and was headed for Liverpool, England, with 186 people onboard when chaos erupted thousands of feet in the air.

According to Air Traffic Control in Britain, the situation became so serious that the captain made the decision to turn the plane around and return to Tenerife South Airport.

The reason was alarming: the fight was considered a threat to the safety of the flight.

“A group of about 10 passengers had started a fight on board, and the captain decided to return due to the danger it posed to the safety of the flight,” Air Traffic Control told GB News.

Police were waiting at Tenerife South Airport when the Airbus A320 landed, bringing the frightening episode to an end for passengers who had expected a straightforward flight home.

The aircraft, described as a 17-year-old Airbus A320, later completed its journey to England safely, according to FlightRadar24. However, the disruption caused a delay of roughly four hours.

EasyJet confirmed that the plane was forced to return because of disruptive passengers.

“EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY3352 from Tenerife to Liverpool on Tuesday, 22 July, returned to the airport and was met by police due to a group of passengers behaving disruptively,” the airline said in a statement.

The company said its staff acted quickly to protect everyone onboard.

“Our cabin and ground crew are trained to assess all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of the flight and other customers is not compromised at any time,” a spokesperson added.

For the 186 people trapped onboard during the chaos, what should have been a routine flight home became a frightening reminder of how quickly disorder in the cabin can spiral into a major safety issue.
