A Venezuelan illegal immigrant who was released into the United States under the Biden administration has been arrested near the White House after authorities allegedly found him inside a stolen pickup truck loaded with firearms and ammunition. Federal officials say he also made a chilling statement about killing President Donald Trump.
The suspect, identified as Ronny Yordrix Guanipa Chrinos, was taken into custody late Thursday, November 5, after a Secret Service officer spotted a blue Ford F-150 parked along Constitution Avenue, just blocks from the White House.
According to court documents, the officer approached the truck shortly before midnight and found Chrinos inside. When asked whether he had any weapons, the suspect allegedly nodded and made a finger-gun gesture with his hand.
What officers discovered next raised serious security concerns.
A search of the pickup uncovered three firearms, including an AR-15-style rifle, a MAC-10 and a Glock 43X pistol, along with dozens of rounds of ammunition. Investigators also determined that the truck had been reported stolen.
But the most disturbing allegation came from the Department of Homeland Security, which said Chrinos told officers he had been hearing voices directing him to Washington to assassinate the president.
According to DHS, the suspect said the voices were telling him to come to the nation’s capital and kill Trump. Those particular remarks were not included in the criminal complaint filed in D.C. Superior Court.
Court records instead describe Chrinos making a bizarre statement through Google Translate, claiming someone had previously tried to kill him with one of the weapons and that he had taken the gun away. He reportedly directed officers to a brown bag inside the vehicle.
Federal officials also revealed that Chrinos illegally entered the United States through Texas in March 2024. He was apprehended by Border Patrol but subsequently released into the country during former President Joe Biden’s administration, according to DHS.
That immigration history has added another dimension to the alarming security incident, raising questions about how a man previously encountered by federal authorities ended up near the White House with multiple firearms.
Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin praised the Secret Service for stopping the suspect before anyone was harmed, while Secret Service Director Sean Curran warned of an increasingly dangerous security environment surrounding the president.
Curran said the agency was particularly concerned about the growing number of armed individuals being drawn to the White House complex.
Chrinos now faces numerous charges, including unlawful transportation and possession of firearms, weapons-related licensing violations, theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and receiving stolen property. No attempted-assassination charge has been publicly announced.
He appeared in D.C. Superior Court on Friday and remains held without bond. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also lodged a detainer against him.
The frightening discovery comes as federal authorities continue confronting threats against Trump, underscoring the enormous security challenges facing the Secret Service as it works to protect the president.

The progressive/socialist controlled House and Senate will be running cover for him and he has nothing to be concerned about. He might even be appointed to a position on the homeland security team at some point. They like the way he thinks.
Sounds like what Trump did because he likes pardons especially for criminals
