Marine veteran Daniel Penny, recently acquitted in the high-profile manslaughter case involving Jordan Neely, received a hero’s welcome on Saturday at the annual Army-Navy football game. Invited as a personal guest of Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, Penny joined President-elect Donald Trump and other prominent figures in a luxury suite at Northwest Stadium in Maryland.
The 26-year-old Long Island native stood alongside leaders like Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth and Intelligence Director nominee Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard called Penny a symbol of American courage, stating, “Standing alongside Daniel was special… He embodies the spirit of service both in and out of uniform.” Trump, greeting Penny with a handshake and photos, led chants of “USA!
