In the aftermath of her resounding 2024 election defeat, former Vice President Kamala Harris reportedly sought counsel from none other than Hillary Clinton. Both women share the unique distinction of making political history—only to be ultimately outmaneuvered by Donald Trump.
Harris, the first woman and person of color to serve as vice president, faced the bitter end of her campaign in November 2024, becoming the second woman in U.S. history to lead the Democratic ticket and lose to Trump. Clinton, now 77, experienced a similar sting in 2016 after winning the popular vote but failing to secure the presidency.
“They have a lot in common, unfortunately,” remarked a longtime Democratic strategist. “Both represent historic firsts, and both struggled to connect with key voter groups.”
While the exact details of their conversations remain undisclosed, sources familiar with Harris’ inner circle describe her consultations with Clinton as part of a broader effort to assess her next steps. Options on the Table
Harris, at 60, has three main paths ahead of her:
- Run for California Governor: With Governor Gavin Newsom term-limited in 2026, Harris could aim for the governorship.
- Prepare for a 2028 Presidential Run: Despite her defeat, Harris has left the door open for another national campaign.
- Step Back from Public Office: Like Clinton, Harris could transition into a different form of public service or private life.
Recent filings from Harris’ campaign show she established an LLC named Pioneer49, a nod to her Secret Service codename and status as the 49th vice president. Some speculate this could serve as a vehicle for future political ambitions.
Harris’ defeat remains a sore point for many Democrats. Her campaign was thrust into high gear last summer after President Joe Biden abruptly dropped out of the race. The short timeline—just 107 days before Election Day—was widely seen as a significant disadvantage.
Adding insult to injury, Biden himself suggested he might have performed better. “It’s presumptuous to say that, but I think yes, based on the polling,” the former president remarked in a recent interview.
Harris remained publicly loyal to Biden throughout the campaign, refusing to criticize his leadership—a move that some Democratic insiders saw as a missed opportunity to differentiate herself.
Clinton’s post-2016 career could serve as a blueprint for Harris. After losing to Trump, Clinton wrote a bestselling memoir, became a frequent commentator on political issues, and, in 2023, joined Columbia University as a professor.
However, Harris faces an uphill battle if she chooses to stay in politics. “The public perception of her 2024 campaign is hard to ignore,” said one Democratic pollster. “She’ll need to reinvent herself.”
Meanwhile, President Trump, now 78, hasn’t missed an opportunity to revel in his win. At his 2025 inauguration, he quipped, “The American people rejected Kamala Harris, just like they rejected Hillary Clinton. History speaks for itself.”

This is easy to answer. Both women forgot about the people that were voting for them. The rich or the poor have the same vote. Calling average or poor people Delorables doesn’t get you too far. In fact Kackling at them with word salads only convinces them that is how your mind works and again, doesn’t get you too far. Unfortunately we have not had a great candidate for decades for POTUS and have to pick the lesser of two evils, and in both these cases it was easy to do. If they Democrats want to ever get back in office they better start thinking what Americans, not the Democratic Party Leaders, want and not promise but deliver it to them. This obstruction is not one of them as the General Public is tried of it, the wastem the lies, and the cheating which has defined democrats lower than a used car salesman.

“Outmaneuvered by Trump?” Give me a break. Hillary ran before the DNC realized they could steal an election. Harris ran after the DNC realized they would be watched more closely. Look at the outcome of the two elections, and it becomes painfully obvious that Biden’s “win” was the time and place where massive manipulation of elections took place.
Harris turning to Killary for guidance is another red flag. I wouldn’t ask clinton to babysit my pet rat.
The answer is very simple. Both women forgot that they were there to serve the Nation not their own parties. The voting public saw through both of their self centered incompetence and picked the, unfortunately these days, lesser of the two evils. Now it is to be seen just how deep the rest of the Democrats did their holes by not supporting what the current POTUS is trying to accomplish. Throwing roadblocks in place only slows the traffic down but it will ultimately show how pathetic Democrats really are with their obstructions to America.
