Kamala Harris Throws Shade at Cancer-Stricken Joe Biden

Kamala Harris is hitting the road to sell her tell-all memoir, but instead of showing loyalty to her former boss Joe Biden—now battling cancer—she’s choosing to shower praise on Hillary Clinton. The move is already stirring outrage and highlighting the widening rift between the failed vice president and the ex-president she once served under.

Speaking to nearly 1,500 attendees at Town Hall in Manhattan, Harris described Clinton as her political “mentor,” saying the former First Lady offered her the support that Biden did not.

“Hillary Clinton is one of those people that believes in lifting people up,” Harris told the crowd. “Sometimes you get support from those who came before, sometimes you don’t.”

To many in the room, the “don’t” was a thinly veiled jab at Biden.

Harris’ new memoir, 107 Days, is blunt about her disillusionment with Biden. At first, she writes, she felt “warmth and loyalty” toward him. But after the 2020 election, she says things soured.

“After warmly welcoming us into the Biden family at the beginning of the campaign, there seemed to be a change of temperature after the election,” Harris wrote.

She complained that when Biden finally endorsed her after he dropped out of the 2024 race, he took nearly nine minutes of an eleven-minute speech before mentioning her name. At the Democratic National Convention, she claims his long address sounded more like “a legacy speech for him, not an argument for me.”

Critics are blasting Harris for taking swipes at Biden at a time when the 82-year-old is fighting cancer. One Republican strategist told us: “It’s heartless. Joe Biden is literally battling for his life, and she’s out here selling books by trashing him. That’s Kamala Harris in a nutshell—selfish and tone-deaf.”

Even some Democrats admit the memoir makes her look ungrateful. “It’s a nasty swipe at the man who gave her the vice presidency,” one former party insider said.

Meanwhile, Harris repeatedly credits Clinton with helping her survive the campaign trail. “She follows through,” Harris gushed. Clinton, of course, has her own history of losing to Donald Trump in 2016—something Harris has tried to avoid acknowledging publicly.

But Harris’ embrace of Clinton while distancing herself from Biden signals where her loyalties lie. As one GOP analyst put it: “Kamala would rather cling to Hillary’s failed legacy than stand by Joe Biden in his final chapter.”

The book also reveals campaign infighting. According to Harris, Democratic strategist David Plouffe urged her to cut back on praising Biden, telling her bluntly: “People hate Joe Biden.”

That line, coming from Obama’s former campaign guru, underscores just how toxic Biden had become inside Democratic circles even before his health battles worsened.

The timing is impossible to ignore. With President Donald Trump back in the White House and delivering on his promises to secure the border and rebuild the economy, Harris’ bitter memoir tour looks less like political reflection and more like sour grapes.

“Americans see through it,” said a senior Trump advisor. “She’s blaming Biden, praising Hillary, and crying about her own failures. Meanwhile, President Trump is leading the country. That’s the real contrast.”
