A staggering new poll reveals just how out of touch the Democratic Party has become. Only 31% of Americans view the Democrats favorably, while 57% have a negative opinion. Why? Just look at the embarrassing spectacle in this month’s Senate confirmation hearings.
Democratic senators, once again, showcased their reckless bias and loyalty to Big Pharma, forever wars, and the January 6 obsession. But it’s not just politics—it’s a party so deeply entrenched in its own leftist ideology, it can’t see why the people rejected them in the last election.
A Senate Out of Touch with Voters
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. appeared before the Senate this month, nominated by President Trump to head the Department of Health and Human Services. Instead of focusing on his plans to address America’s chronic disease crisis and the overprescription of harmful drugs, Senate Democrats launched into baseless attacks.
Senator Bernie Sanders, who’s no stranger to controversy, was called out by RFK Jr. for accepting $1.5 million from Big Pharma. Sanders responded, saying the money came from pharmaceutical workers, but Americans aren’t fooled. The fact remains: the Democrat Party is entangled in a web of corporate interests, and RFK Jr. was simply pointing out the obvious.
War, Not Peace
But the absurdity didn’t stop there. When Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s pick for Director of National Intelligence, was up for confirmation, Senator Mark Kelly raised concerns about her stance on Middle East policy, labeling it “Russian propaganda.” Gabbard pushed back, explaining that her opposition to regime change wars stemmed from the disastrous consequences of the Iraq war and the Obama administration’s misguided intervention in Syria.
Americans didn’t vote for Trump just to continue these endless conflicts abroad. They want a foreign policy based on peace and pragmatism—not the knee-jerk reactions of a Washington obsessed with foreign intervention.
FBI: A Political Weapon?
Next, Democrats went after Trump’s nominee to head the FBI, Kash Patel. Senator Adam Schiff, a key figure in the Russian Collusion Hoax, went as far as asking Patel to face the Capitol Police while he accused him of downplaying the January 6th riots. It was a political stunt, pure and simple. The truth? Voters are fed up with the Democrats’ fixation on January 6 and their use of the FBI as a political weapon. Americans just want an unbiased, professional law enforcement agency—not one that targets political opponents.
Social Justice Over Military Readiness?
Finally, the spectacle reached new heights during Pete Hegseth’s hearing for the Pentagon position. Instead of focusing on national defense, Democratic senators seemed obsessed with pushing social justice issues—like advocating for mothers to serve in combat and military involvement in gender transition surgeries. But voters don’t care about the left’s social experiments in the military. They want a military focused on one thing: protecting this country.
Why the Democrats are Losing
What these hearings exposed wasn’t just a Democratic Party out of touch with the American people—it showed a party that doesn’t even share the same priorities. They’re obsessed with appeasing special interests, like Big Pharma, while ignoring the very real concerns of everyday Americans.
Trump’s agenda has always been simple: Make America Healthy Again, end the forever wars, rein in Big Pharma, and restore a fair FBI. And while the Democrats continue to dig in their heels, Trump has cleverly positioned himself as the voice of common sense—forcing the left to defend the indefensible.
A Party Without a Plan
It’s clear that the Democratic Party, under its current leadership, has no agenda other than resisting Trump. That’s their entire platform. But as polls continue to plummet and their base shrinks, they have a choice to make: will they focus on the real issues facing Americans or continue their obsession with Trump?
If Democrats don’t shift their focus away from Trump and toward the concerns of the American people, their political wilderness could last much longer than they realize. It’s time to stop being the “Anti-Trump” party and start standing for something that resonates with the voters. Otherwise, they’ll remain irrelevant—and history will judge them harshly.
Is there any hope for a Democrat revival, or are they too entrenched in their own defeatist narrative? The clock is ticking.
