Singer Goes ‘Full Trump’ at The Grammys (Video)

Joy Villa is back on the Grammys red carpet, and she’s louder than ever in her support for President Trump. Just days after Trump began his second term, the singer-songwriter made a statement at music’s biggest event — sporting a gold dress and a red hat reminiscent of the iconic MAGA cap. But Villa’s return wasn’t just about the fashion. It was about sending a message.

The artist, known for turning heads with her bold MAGA-inspired outfits, had last appeared on the Grammys red carpet in 2020. Back then, Villa was already making waves for her unwavering allegiance to Trump’s presidency, showcasing her love for the policies that resonated with her conservative values.

On Sunday night, Villa stunned in a gold ensemble, accessorized with a red hat that read, “The Hat Stays On.” The hat wasn’t just a nod to Trump’s famous slogan — it symbolized his resilience in the face of adversity. The gold chain she wore featured a dog sporting a hat, adding a touch of humor to the ensemble.

“This is all about American exceptionalism, freedom, and pride,” Villa told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m here to make America glamorous again.”

Villa’s dress was designed by Andre Soriano, a “gay Filipino immigrant” who, Villa explained, had also crafted some of her most memorable Grammy looks, including a dress designed to represent the U.S. southern border fence.

“This is the new wave of freedom,” Villa added, pointing to the meme-coin cryptocurrency she wore as a chain. “Trump’s been a supporter of it, and I think it’s a part of the movement towards financial independence.”

Villa’s red hat was more than just a piece of fashion; it was a symbol of Trump’s tenacity and unshaken spirit. “They tried to take him down, but Trump is still here. Thank God. The hat stays on,” Villa declared confidently. “No matter how hard they tried to get rid of him, we stand strong. The red-hat army is here to stay.”

Villa is quick to point out the diversity among Trump supporters, noting that “a lot of Latinos, Black Americans, and artists” are part of the movement, rejecting the media narrative that portrays it as one-dimensional.

When asked about the recent wave of deportations, Villa didn’t hesitate to voice her support for Trump’s tough stance on immigration. “I’m Latina,” she said, “and my family came here legally. I’m proud of that. So, yes, I love to see rapists, human traffickers, and criminals deported. They don’t belong here. We need to take care of our own citizens first.”

She continued, “That’s what makes America great. We want safety for everyone. I want to be able to walk down the street without fearing for my life. I don’t want to be scared of an illegal alien who could harm me. Deporting criminals isn’t just necessary — it’s essential.”

Villa’s words are a testament to the steadfast support Trump continues to receive from those who see his policies as vital for a safer, more prosperous America.

In a world where political discourse is often divisive, Joy Villa is unapologetic in her stance. “I’ll wear the hat proudly,” she said. “It’s not just a hat; it’s a symbol of resilience, of standing up for what’s right, and of protecting the America we love.”

As the Grammys continue to showcase the glitz and glamour of the entertainment world, Joy Villa’s presence reminds us that some stars are willing to take risks, standing firm in their beliefs no matter the spotlight. And as she proves, the fight for America’s future is far from over.
