Prince Andrew ‘Too Afraid’ to Step Foot in America as FBI Faces Pressure to Investigate Epstein Ties

Prince Andrew, once dubbed “Air Miles Andy” for his globe-trotting lifestyle, is now reportedly too afraid to ever visit the United States again. The disgraced Duke of York is facing renewed scrutiny over his ties to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and sources say he fears being arrested, subpoenaed, or sued if he steps onto American soil.

New revelations suggest Andrew maintained contact with Epstein long after claiming to have severed ties. A 2011 email from the prince to the disgraced financier—sent two months after he publicly stated their friendship had ended—was recently uncovered. The message read: “Keep in close touch and we’ll play some more soon.” This revelation has reignited demands for the FBI to reexamine Andrew’s involvement in Epstein’s sordid world.

Attorney Spencer Kuvin, who represents several Epstein victims, insists the UK should hand Andrew over for questioning. “The British monarchy should be embarrassed. He should be fully separated from the monarchy, and the public should never be subsidizing someone with such bad judgment—or worse,” Kuvin stated. He added that the U.S. government should demand Andrew’s cooperation and that King Charles should take decisive action.

Former President Donald Trump’s FBI director nominee, Kash Patel, has vowed to “do everything in [his] power” to expose those who enabled Epstein’s operations. Republican lawmakers are also calling for a thorough investigation, emphasizing that no one—royal or otherwise—should be above the law.

The fallout from the Epstein scandal has left Prince Andrew increasingly isolated. Once a staple of high-society circles, he has been shunned by former friends and stripped of most royal duties. Since the scandal exploded, he has traveled abroad only once—to Bahrain, where he still has allies.

A royal insider told The Sun: “He’s not just avoiding the U.S.—he’s barely leaving his home. There hasn’t been a single golf trip to Spain, no vacations, nothing. He’s terrified.”

Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace has refused to comment on the matter, continuing its strategy of distancing itself from Andrew. The Duke has consistently denied wrongdoing and settled a civil lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre in 2022 without admitting liability.

Despite prior efforts to bring Andrew in for questioning, including a 2020 request from the FBI to the UK Home Office, no progress has been made. The investigation was mysteriously put on hold in 2024, fueling speculation about political interference.

Epstein died under suspicious circumstances in 2019 while awaiting trial, but his shadow continues to loom large. With new evidence emerging, pressure is mounting on U.S. authorities to hold everyone involved accountable—including Prince Andrew.

Republicans in Congress are demanding transparency, with one lawmaker stating: “Americans deserve to know the full extent of Epstein’s network. If Prince Andrew has nothing to hide, he should answer the FBI’s questions.”
