In yet another bizarre and fiery celebrity encounter, Donald Trump impersonator Jason Scoop is making headlines after claiming Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, aggressively pursued him down a New York City block following his now-viral confrontation with the actor.
The comedian, known for his controversial humor, recounted the incident on Tuesday, revealing that while the cameras captured Baldwin’s explicit threats, the real drama unfolded once they stopped rolling.
“Nobody saw it—because the camera was off—but his wife chased me around the block after,” Scoop told TMZ. “I’m not kidding you.”
A Wild Confrontation Turns Personal
Scoop’s initial stunt took place Sunday evening when he ambushed Baldwin outside his Manhattan residence, where the actor was unloading luggage. In his signature Trump impersonation, Scoop mockingly offered Baldwin a “total pardon” for the tragic 2021 Rust shooting—so long as he agreed to “kiss [his] ring.”
The joke struck a nerve. Baldwin, who has long faced scrutiny over the accidental shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, initially tried to brush off the heckler. However, Scoop kept pressing, calling the actor a “murderer” and even putting words in Hutchins’ mouth, claiming she would be “smiling down” at him confronting Baldwin.
That’s when Baldwin snapped.
“Look at me. I want you to look at me,” Baldwin seethed, stepping menacingly close. “You realize my kids live in this building? I want you to be real careful. If this camera wasn’t here, I’d snap your f*ing neck in half.”**
After multiple warnings to leave, Baldwin threatened to “shove that camera up [Scoop’s] ass.”
Hilaria Baldwin’s Unexpected Role
While Alec’s reaction was captured in full, what happened next wasn’t.
According to Scoop, Hilaria Baldwin—known for her past scandal of allegedly faking a Spanish heritage—stormed after him once the dust settled.
“She’s like, ‘Oh my God, what are you doing?!’ And I turned around and immediately recognized her,” Scoop recalled. “I was like, that’s the ‘cucumber lady’—the one who pretended she couldn’t pronounce cucumber and faked a Spanish accent when she grew up in Boston.”
Then, he says, Hilaria lunged at him.
“She tried to snatch my phone—literally lunged for it! And then she chased me down the street in high heels. It was crazy,” he alleged.
Despite his frantic pleas for his cameraman to record the chase, the footage never made it to the internet. “I yelled, ‘Get this! Get this!’ And I was so disappointed when he missed it. That might’ve been even bigger than me and Alec.”
A Stunt Gone Too Far?
Scoop, who has been openly critical of Baldwin’s Trump impersonation on Saturday Night Live, admitted that his encounter was “scorched earth” payback for years of mockery.
However, he acknowledged feeling genuine fear. “At one point, I 100% thought he was going to physically hit me,” he said. “Half of my brain was like, ‘I got gold, baby!’ The other half was thinking, ‘Is he actually going to kill me?’”
While Baldwin’s threats were caught on camera, Hilaria’s alleged chase remains unverified. Reps for the Baldwins have not responded to requests for comment.
One thing’s for certain—this wasn’t just another celebrity dust-up. It was a full-on spectacle.
