JFK’s Grandson Rages Over Trump’s JFK Document Release—Calls It a ‘Total Surprise’

Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President John F. Kennedy, erupted on social media after the Trump administration released a long-awaited batch of JFK assassination files—without, he claims, giving the Kennedy family a heads-up.

In a fiery post on X, Schlossberg accused Trump of blindsiding his family while alleging that Robert F. Kennedy Jr., now serving as Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services, had prior knowledge of the release.

“No one in my family was told. Not one of us,” Schlossberg fumed. “But Bobby knew. And, of course, he didn’t say a word.”

Trump Delivers on Transparency Promise

The document dump—totaling 80,000 pages—was uploaded to the National Archives website Tuesday night, part of an effort to declassify remaining records related to JFK’s assassination. The move follows Trump’s longstanding promise to bring government transparency to historical events that, for decades, have fueled speculation and controversy.

JFK, the 35th president of the United States, was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963, while riding in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza. The official explanation pins the crime on Lee Harvey Oswald, a former Marine and defector to the Soviet Union. However, many Americans have long believed there was more to the story, with theories ranging from CIA involvement to a deep-state cover-up.

While researchers are still combing through the newly released files, early reports indicate there are no bombshell revelations—though some documents shed light on Cold War tensions and potential intelligence failures.

Schlossberg Lashes Out at Trump and RFK Jr.

Schlossberg’s outrage didn’t stop at Trump. He also directed his anger at RFK Jr., whom he referred to dismissively as “Bobby,” criticizing his alignment with Trump’s administration.

“JFK’s legacy is being dismantled, piece by piece,” Schlossberg ranted in a follow-up post. “And Bobby? He’s complicit.”

Kennedy family tensions have been boiling over for months, with Schlossberg previously denouncing RFK Jr. for running as an independent candidate in the 2024 election. Now, with RFK Jr. firmly in Trump’s camp, the divide appears wider than ever.

Mainstream Media Gets a Scolding

Schlossberg also took aim at CNN, blasting their coverage of the document release. In a video posted to Instagram, he appeared visibly frustrated as the network ran a segment on the JFK files.

“This is so f*ing stupid**,” he snapped. “There’s so much real news happening, and this is what you’re talking about? You’re better than this.”

Despite his outrage, Schlossberg’s attack on Trump’s decision may not resonate with many Americans. A majority of U.S. voters have long supported full transparency regarding JFK’s assassination records, with polls showing bipartisan agreement that the government has withheld key information for too long.

For Trump, the move is another example of his willingness to challenge the Washington establishment, even when it means disrupting narratives that have existed for decades. Whether the newly released files will change history’s perception of JFK’s assassination remains to be seen. But one thing is clear—the Kennedy family feud is far from over.

    1. Well, those that only listen to and read msm probably didn’t know because I doubt they mentioned it. I listen and read them so I know what lies they’re telling, and I didn’t hear it mention at all.

  1. I was in high school when this happened. We were let out early and I went home to find my mother crying I can’t imagine ant family member not wanting fo find out the truth. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

  2. The right to have weapons now a Big question mark for me some people use to handle it with their fist.

  3. Not that it wasn’t in the news both before and after the election. Not that every day, mention was made about the upcoming release of the documents. Kind of a weird complaint.
