Navy Veteran Who Saw UFOs Reveals Chilling Details (Video)

A Navy veteran with more than two decades of service is stepping forward with a chilling account of what he believes could be one of the most baffling UFO encounters in recent military history.

Senior Chief Operations Specialist Alexandro Wiggins, a 23-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, says he was onboard the USS Jackson on February 15, 2023, when something unexplainable happened off the southern California coast. During a routine operation, Wiggins says he witnessed four unidentified flying objects rise out of the Pacific Ocean and take off in perfect unison—an event that left even the most seasoned sailors speechless.

In an interview with 8NewsNow, Wiggins recalled seeing what looked like a light surfacing from the water before ascending into the sky. Initially skeptical, he used thermal imaging to get a clearer look. What he saw stunned him: not one, but four objects shaped like the now-infamous “Tic Tacs” hovering above the ocean.

“We only saw the one, and then we see the second one. It was only when we zoomed out that we realized there were two more—four in total,” Wiggins said.

Then, without warning, the objects bolted northeast in a perfectly timed departure. “If I had to talk speed, it was two steps behind instantaneous,” Wiggins described. “It was like a synchronized launch. All four, gone, just like that.”

Wiggins, who now lives in Las Vegas, also revealed that his father once worked at Area 51—a classified Air Force base that has long been at the heart of UFO speculation. He expressed hope that one day, what he saw will be acknowledged publicly. “Maybe when I’m 80 or 90, it’ll all be out there. Just like the stealth bomber or Area 51. It’ll be normal,” he said.

Video of the 2023 sighting was obtained and released this month by investigative journalists George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell, co-hosts of the Weaponized Podcast. The footage, captured by military personnel aboard the USS Jackson, shows four Tic Tac-shaped objects emerging from a part of the ocean designated as Warning Area 291, a restricted military zone long linked to anomalous aerial phenomena.

Another witness, a combat information center (CIC) operator aboard the ship, told the podcast that seeing individual UFOs isn’t uncommon for Navy crews—but watching four emerge from the water and take off in formation was something new entirely.

“All in synchronous, jetting into the abyss. All four, all timed together and all left,” the CIC operator said. “We were like, holy s**t. Then I look at the radar—they’re all off it. Gone.”

The Safire camera system used to observe the objects reportedly failed to detect any heat signatures—despite the UFOs zipping away at high speed. According to Corbell, this suggests the craft may be using an unknown form of propulsion.

Former Pentagon official Marik Von Rennenkampff reviewed flight data from the time of the incident and confirmed there were no known U.S. aircraft operating in the area. “I don’t think it’s ours,” he said. “There are better ways to test classified equipment than by shocking unsuspecting sailors.”

The event echoes another famous encounter nearly 20 years earlier: the 2004 “Nimitz Incident,” when Navy pilots from the USS Nimitz reported seeing similar Tic Tac-shaped UFOs off the coast of San Diego. In that case, Commander David Fravor and several other pilots observed an object with no wings or visible propulsion moving in impossible ways before vanishing and reappearing at a predesignated rendezvous point 60 miles away.

That incident was eventually made public in a 2017 New York Times exposé, fueling widespread speculation that the U.S. government knows more about UFOs than it’s letting on.

With new eyewitnesses like Wiggins speaking out and more classified footage being released, the mystery surrounding these Tic Tac sightings continues to deepen. Whether they’re secret military tech or something far more extraordinary, the question remains: What exactly is flying through our skies—and now, apparently, rising from our oceans?

  1. I was serving on a submarine on a submarine in 1957 off coast of San Diego, I was the starboard lockout on the 8-12 night watch. I reported a strange light off the starboard bow, the OD glassed it and said” it’s most likely flares from a cruise ship.
A few minutes later the lat one light separated into four lights in a one up one down etc. the OD was made aware , a minute later they all came back to four abreast and took off to the south and in a second they had traveled over the horizon. The OD made the captain aware of what had taken place. The captain told him to make a notation in the ships log.
Several minutes later they appeared off the starboard bow bow, and again within seconds they flow south and was over the horizon within a few seconds.
It was like the they were putting on a show for us.
