Before Sean “Diddy” Combs found himself at the center of a federal sex trafficking investigation, he was living large in a $61.5 million Los Angeles mansion just minutes from the iconic Playboy mansion — and the rumors surrounding his Hollywood hideout have only gotten wilder.
For years, conspiracy theorists whispered about secret tunnels linking Diddy’s estate to Hugh Hefner’s infamous party palace, allegedly used to fuel his now-notorious “freak offs.” While the claims went viral on social media, RadarOnline.com has uncovered that there is, in fact, a tunnel — but it doesn’t go quite as far as people think.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Diddy’s 17,000-square-foot Beverly Crest home, which includes a 3,000-square-foot guesthouse, does feature a private underwater tunnel — but it simply connects the main house to a grotto in his own backyard, not the Playboy mansion.
Still, the similarities are enough to raise eyebrows. The luxury property boasts a 35-seat theater, gym, wine room, and a separate spa house with a steam room, massage suite, and beauty salon — all the trappings of a high-end party compound.
Despite Hefner’s own mansion having laundry tunnels of its own (as confirmed by his son), there’s no confirmed passage between the two properties. But Diddy’s own homes may have harbored far darker secrets.
After his arrest in October, law enforcement uncovered shocking details inside Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami mansions. Photos showed more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube, high-powered firearms with defaced serial numbers, and a stash of party drugs including ecstasy, ketamine, and GHB.
Authorities also revealed that the weapons were broken down and stored with loaded magazines in his Miami closet. According to the indictment, Diddy allegedly used firearms to intimidate witnesses and victims of his abuse.
U.S. Attorney Damian Williams didn’t hold back, accusing the disgraced music mogul of orchestrating multi-day “freak offs” filled with narcotics and sex workers. The explosive allegations painted a picture of a man who weaponized his wealth and power to maintain control.
“These parties would sometimes last for days,” Williams said, “and involved various drugs distributed to keep participants obedient and compliant.”
Diddy, once a towering figure in entertainment, is now being compared to Jeffrey Epstein, with prosecutors calling his homes “centers of exploitation.” His Star Island estate in Miami, much like Epstein’s Little St. James Island, is under intense scrutiny.
