‘American Pickers’ Star Hospitalized After Brutal Crash

“American Pickers” icon Mike Wolfe and his girlfriend Leticia Cline are lucky to be alive after a terrifying car crash Friday night in Columbia, Tennessee.

Wolfe, 61, took to Instagram to share the shocking news, posting a photo of his vintage blue car completely wrecked. He wrote, “By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay.” Cline, however, remains in the hospital with serious injuries.

“Leticia is still hospitalized but expected to make a full recovery,” Wolfe added. “Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time. We appreciate all of your love and prayers. God bless.”

Later that night, Wolfe updated fans again: “It’s been a rough night, but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I truly believe in the power of group prayers.”

Cline also opened up about her injuries on social media, revealing that her jaw smashed into the shattered car window during the crash. She posted photos of herself lying in a hospital bed wearing a neck brace and shared a gut-wrenching update:

“Broken jaw (in a few places), broken ribs, sternum, collapsed lung and a lot of swelling on my spine. My mouth will be wired shut… but I still got my brain and that’s all that matters.”

Fans flooded the couple’s accounts with prayers and messages of support as they continue to recover.

The accident comes just months after Wolfe made headlines for closing his beloved Nashville storefront, Antique Archaeology, after 15 years in business. In an emotional post at the time, Wolfe wrote:

“This place has meant the world to me — not just the brick and mortar, but the people, the community… the visitors from all over the world who came through those doors and reminded me why I started this journey.”

He added, “Sometimes, even when something is good, you have to pause and ask yourself where your time is going — and where your heart is calling you next.”

Wolfe said he’s now embracing a quieter life back home in Iowa. “This isn’t goodbye — it’s just a new rhythm.”

His move followed the tragic passing of his longtime “American Pickers” co-star and childhood friend, Frank Fritz, who died in 2024 from stroke complications while in hospice. Wolfe had known Fritz since 8th grade and said the show hasn’t been the same without him.

“Every day we think about Frank on set. There are so many things that connect us to him,” Wolfe told the New York Post.

As Wolfe and Cline fight to recover, fans are continuing to show support — holding onto hope, and sending well wishes to one of TV’s most beloved antique-hunting duos.
