Obama Insider Dropped a Bombshell on Kamala Harris — “People Hate Joe Biden”

Kamala Harris is spilling secrets about the Democrats’ disastrous 2024 campaign in a tell-all memoir that torches Joe Biden and exposes how deeply unpopular he really was.

The book, 107 Days, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the short-lived Harris presidential bid that collapsed under the weight of Biden’s failures, party infighting, and voter resentment.

In the earliest days of her campaign, Harris leaned heavily on praising Biden in stump speeches. But according to her own account, she was told to knock it off—fast.

“I spent the first third of my remarks effusively praising him before I launched into my own campaign speech,” Harris writes. “I would do that for several weeks until my campaign strategists urged me to stop: ‘It’s time this campaign was about you.’”

Then came the real dagger. Barack Obama’s legendary campaign manager, David Plouffe, who had been called in to salvage Harris’ effort, didn’t mince words.

“People hate Joe Biden,” Plouffe reportedly told Harris.

Plouffe’s frustration with the then-82-year-old president has been no secret. In journalist Jake Tapper’s book Original Sin, he called Harris’ rushed campaign a “f—ing nightmare.”

“And it’s all Biden,” he seethed. “He totally f—ed us.”

By the time Biden finally stepped aside, his approval rating had cratered to 41 percent, dragging Harris down with him. In her own words, Biden’s poll numbers were a “ball and chain” on her candidacy.

Harris went further in her memoir, blasting Biden’s decision to stay in the race as “reckless.”

“The stakes were simply too high,” she wrote. “This wasn’t a choice that should have been left to an individual’s ego, an individual’s ambition. It should have been more than a personal decision.”

She also took aim at Biden’s staff, describing them as directionless and addicted to throwing money at problems instead of building a real strategy.

Not surprisingly, Biden loyalists have fired back. One former White House official sneered that Harris “was simply not good at the job.”

“She had basically zero substantive role in any of the administration’s key work streams,” the aide told Axios. “She would just dive bomb in for stilted photo ops that exposed how out of depth she was.”

Another Biden insider dismissed Harris’ complaints about a rushed campaign. “The independent variable there is the vice president,” the official said flatly. “Not Biden or his aides.”

Others insist Biden’s team bent over backward to support her. “There were several officials who really tried to help her thrive,” one aide said. “But she and her team did not seize that support and make the most of it. It is all a tragedy.”

For Republicans, Harris’ memoir confirms what voters already knew: the Biden-Harris years were a catastrophe. Biden’s stubbornness crippled his own party, Harris proved wildly unprepared, and Democrats imploded in front of the entire nation.

As President Donald Trump reasserts American leadership in 2025, Democrats are still fighting over who to blame for the mess they left behind.

And if Harris’ book proves anything, it’s that the knives are still out—and they’re pointed at Joe Biden.
