Trump Switches Biden Portrait for Autopen Machine in White House’s Presidential Display

The Biden legacy just took another hit.

On Wednesday, the White House unveiled its new Presidential Walk of Fame outside the West Wing. Every modern president is honored with an official portrait. But when the camera panned to Joe Biden’s spot, something shocking appeared — not a painting of the man himself, but a framed image of an autopen machine, the device Biden relied on to sign pardons, laws, and even executive orders.

The move was no accident. Officials close to President Trump say it was a deliberate reminder of what many Republicans long warned: Biden wasn’t running the country — the machine was.

An autopen is a mechanical arm that holds a pen and produces a pre-programmed signature. Biden leaned heavily on it during his presidency, using it to sign thousands of documents while questions about his mental fitness mounted.

“He never gave the orders,” Trump told reporters during a recent trip to the UK. “They used that machine illegally. The only thing he signed himself was his son’s pardon.”

Trump has been relentless in mocking Biden’s reliance on the device. At rallies, he points to it as proof the Democrat never had the stamina — or the awareness — to govern.

Republicans have long argued Biden’s use of the autopen wasn’t just lazy — it was dangerous. Critics claim it allowed unaccountable staffers to push through pardons and directives without the president’s real approval.

Stephen Miller, Trump’s former senior advisor, didn’t mince words. “Biden’s autopen gave a sadistic criminal underclass entry to the United States,” he said earlier this year, blasting the pardons issued under the device’s programmed signature.

The Walk of Fame display now immortalizes that controversy. Instead of an oil portrait, visitors see the sleek black machine, pen in hand, scratching out Biden’s signature.

Video released by the White House shows President Trump himself walking the new installation. He stops at his own portrait — smiling — then glances at the autopen tribute to his predecessor.

“This is what happens when you don’t actually do the job,” Trump quipped in a Daily Caller interview, hinting weeks ago that Biden’s display would be different from the rest.

For Trump and his supporters, it’s a powerful symbol. For Democrats, it’s another reminder of a presidency defined by doubts, denials, and delegations of power to machines and staffers.

The Presidential Walk of Fame was designed to celebrate American leadership. But in Biden’s case, the White House has turned the honor into a warning — a cautionary tale of what happens when a commander-in-chief hands off his pen and his power.

For Republicans, it’s vindication. For Biden, it’s humiliation.
