Conservative Influencer Warns of Rising Left-Wing Violence: “They Want to Silence Us Forever”

Savannah Craven Antao never thought asking questions on the street would leave her bleeding. But this spring, the young conservative activist says she was brutally attacked while conducting a pro-life interview in New York City—an incident she fears won’t be the last.

“They cut my face open just because I dared to ask someone about abortion,” Craven Antao told our reporters. “If someone is willing to punch me for speaking, why would the violence stop there? Why not kill us? That’s what they ultimately want—silence.”

Craven Antao, who rose to prominence through her work with Live Action and her viral YouTube channel Her Patriot Voice, credits much of her career to the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

“I owe almost everything I have to Charlie,” she said. “He inspired me to be bold, to never back down from the truth. And he paid the ultimate price for it.”

Kirk’s assassination earlier this month at Utah Valley University rattled conservatives nationwide. Authorities say 23-year-old Tyler Robinson ambushed Kirk, shooting him in the neck in broad daylight. He is now charged with murder.

“Charlie was targeted because he was winning hearts and minds,” Craven Antao said. “They couldn’t stop him with debates, so they stopped him with a bullet.”

Her April assault, caught on camera, showed a pro-abortion activist suddenly striking her during a street debate. The case should have been open-and-shut. Instead, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office dropped the charges after missing a filing deadline.

“It’s disgraceful,” said conservative attorney Mark Hastings. “If the roles were reversed—if a conservative had sucker-punched a liberal influencer—you can bet the DA’s office would have pursued it to the fullest extent of the law. Instead, Savannah is left without justice.”

Craven Antao says that kind of double standard is fueling a climate of fear. “In Brooklyn, most of the people I spoke with told me they don’t feel safe exercising free speech anymore. That should terrify every American.”

Despite the threats, Craven Antao leans on her Christian faith to press forward. Quoting 2 Timothy 3:12, she noted, “All who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”

She admits the danger is real but insists backing down is not an option. “This is our duty,” she said. “If we don’t speak the truth, if we don’t fight for life and freedom, then the radicals win. And I won’t let Charlie’s legacy die like that.”

Her message echoes President Donald Trump’s repeated warnings about escalating political violence since returning to the White House in January. The administration has pledged to strengthen federal protections for free speech and religious liberty, pointing to attacks on conservative voices as proof that “the left has abandoned debate for intimidation.”

As for Craven Antao, she vows to continue hitting the streets with her microphone, no matter the risk. “I know what I’m walking into every time,” she said. “But if they think violence will scare me into silence, they’ve got another thing coming.”
