3 Dead, Including 3-Year-Old, Found Outside Home in Tragic Incident

Police in Texas are investigating the deaths of three people in what authorities believe may have been a murder-suicide.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said the victims — an adult male, an adult female, and a young child — were found dead outside a home in Conroe on Thursday, October 23. Officers were called to the scene around 3:45 p.m. local time.

Authorities have not released details on the exact circumstances or injuries that led to the deaths, but Montgomery County Major Crimes detectives and crime scene investigators quickly launched an investigation.

“Preliminary facts and evidence suggest the incident is believed to be a murder-suicide involving one adult male, one adult female, and one child,” the MCSO said in a statement.

The victims have been identified as 52-year-old Salvador Ramirez and 39-year-old Maria Ramirez. The child, a 3-year-old boy, has not been named.

Montgomery County Sheriff Wesley Doolittle called the incident “tragic” and said it would shock the community. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the family members, especially those that have discovered this horrible incident,” he said during a press conference, per Click2Houston.

Authorities emphasized that, based on their initial investigation, the tragedy appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.

Neighbors were left shaken. Carlos Delgado, who lives nearby, told Click2Houston, “It’s scary, it’s dangerous. Something like that happened too close to our house.”

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details.
