Biden Going Broke? Ex-President Struggling to Book Gigs

Joe Biden’s post-presidency life isn’t shaping up to be the payday he hoped for. The 82-year-old former commander-in-chief is reportedly facing mounting money troubles as his public speaking career sputters — and insiders say his son Hunter’s growing legal debts aren’t helping.

After leaving the White House, Biden tried to follow in the footsteps of big earners like Bill Clinton, who made a reported $100 million giving speeches. But according to insiders, corporate America and Democratic donors have cooled on Joe after his disastrous 2024 campaign collapse and ongoing health battles.

“Joe’s arrogance not only cost Democrats the White House,” one insider told RadarOnline. “It cost him the chance to cash in on his presidency.”

Big Fees, Small Interest

Biden has reportedly been asking up to $500,000 per appearance — but sources say few are willing to pay that much for a man known more for blank stares than barnburners. One group, the Society for Human Resource Management, allegedly balked at his fee and even made the former president fly commercial to their summer conference in San Diego.

While Biden’s agency CAA denies those claims, his reputation has taken a hit. Reports of him using an outdated racial term at a Chicago event have only made things worse. “It’s embarrassing,” said one Democratic insider.

Hunter’s Debt Becoming Joe’s Burden

Adding to the strain: Hunter Biden’s ongoing legal woes. The president’s troubled son has racked up enormous debts from his multiple criminal cases, and sources say Joe has been quietly helping foot the bill.

Meanwhile, Joe’s own finances are under pressure. Property taxes on his Rehoboth Beach home jumped 20% this year, and his Wilmington residence carries a mortgage of up to $500,000 that won’t be paid off until 2043. He also has several smaller loans tied to his Delaware properties.

No Library, No Legacy

The fallout from Donald Trump’s 2024 victory reportedly deepened divisions inside Biden’s own party, leaving the ex-president isolated.

Now, even his dream of building a presidential library seems in doubt. Donor and Florida lawyer John Morgan, who gave $1 million to Biden’s campaign, joked that a library “will never be built — unless it’s a bookmobile.”

Biden, who has been battling aggressive prostate cancer, remains largely out of the public eye as his team scrambles to repair his image and find paying gigs.

“Corporate America doesn’t want him,” another source said. “Democrats don’t either. It’s a sad end to a long career.”
