Mamdani Blames Election Bomb Threats on Trump

The White House erupted Tuesday after a fringe socialist candidate for New York City mayor attempted to pin a series of Election Day bomb threats on President Donald J. Trump — a move press secretary Karoline Leavitt blasted as “disgusting,” “deranged,” and “totally divorced from reality.”

Zohran Mamdani — a far-left darling backed by the Democratic Socialists of America — made the outrageous accusation while speaking to reporters in New York, claiming that anonymous threats made against polling places in New Jersey were somehow inspired by Trump and his allies.

“This is part of the general approach the Trump administration has taken,” Mamdani said, without a shred of evidence. “Intimidating voters. Suppressing voices. Undermining democracy.”

The White House response? Nuclear.

“This is a SICK smear job,” Leavitt said from the podium. “And it’s exactly what Americans have come to expect from the unhinged Democrat Party — false flags, fake outrage, and desperate attempts to demonize President Trump every time they’re losing.”

NO EVIDENCE. NO SHAME. JUST POLITICAL THEATER.

Authorities in New Jersey said several polling stations were temporarily evacuated Tuesday morning after receiving emailed bomb threats. But within hours, officials declared there was “no credible threat” and all voting resumed safely.

“These were empty threats — and now we know the only real threat to democracy today is lunatics like Mamdani trying to divide the country with lies,” Leavitt said.

“President Trump had NOTHING to do with these threats,” she added. “The only people politicizing this are the radical Democrats who can’t stand that the American people are voting red in record numbers.”

MAMDANI’S HISTORY OF EXTREMISM

Mamdani, a self-proclaimed socialist from Queens, is no stranger to controversy. He’s previously voiced support for abolishing ICE, defunding the NYPD, and slashing U.S. military aid to Israel. His mayoral campaign — a longshot run that’s drawn praise from anti-police groups and anti-Israel agitators — has already been labeled a “national security concern” by conservative watchdogs.

Now, critics say he’s stooped to new lows.

“This is how the left operates — if they can’t win, they scream ‘bomb threat’ and blame Trump,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. “It’s vile. And it’s dangerous.”

REPUBLICANS FIGHT BACK

GOP leaders from coast to coast slammed Mamdani’s reckless comments.

“This is not just irresponsible — it’s pure political arson,” said Sen. JD Vance. “Accusing the President of inspiring bomb threats on Election Day? The guy should be disqualified from running for dogcatcher.”

In New Jersey, where the threats originated, voters expressed outrage that their safety had been politicized.

“Whoever made those threats should be locked up,” said Paul DeLuca, a retired firefighter in Essex County. “But blaming Trump? That’s insane. That man is trying to save this country, not scare voters.”

The FBI and DHS are continuing to investigate the source of the emails. As of Tuesday afternoon, no suspects had been identified, and there is zero evidence linking the threats to any political group — Republican or Democrat.
