Chaos erupted in Brooklyn Sunday afternoon when a man allegedly stole a FedEx truck and went on a reckless rampage through Park Slope, smashing into vehicles, a church fence, and even trying to hijack an ambulance.
According to police, 32-year-old Domanique Bullock jumped into a parked FedEx truck outside 606 Carroll Street around 2:25 p.m., shoving the 25-year-old driver out of the vehicle before speeding off.
Bullock’s joyride quickly turned destructive. He crashed into a parked 2012 Mercedes-Benz SUV a few doors down, then rear-ended a yellow 2024 taxi stopped at a red light, and even plowed into a nearby church fence.
After abandoning the truck, Bullock ran from the scene — but the story took an even stranger turn. He returned and tried to climb into a parked New York-Presbyterian Hospital ambulance that had arrived to respond to the crash he allegedly caused. The attempt failed, and police quickly took him into custody.
Bullock now faces multiple charges, including robbery, attempted grand larceny auto, reckless driving, criminal mischief, and leaving the scene of an accident.
Miraculously, no one was injured during the wild carjacking and crash spree.
