Democrat Caught Texting Epstein to Undermine Trump During 2019 Hearing, Docs Reveal

Virgin Islands Delegate Linked to Disgraced Pedophile in Bid to Orchestrate Anti-Trump Theater on Capitol Hill

In a bombshell revelation that’s sending shockwaves through Washington, newly released documents show Democrat Rep. Stacey Plaskett was in direct communication with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing — and was apparently taking real-time advice on how to damage then-former President Donald Trump.

The communications, buried within 20,000 pages of records released by Epstein’s estate and now under review by the House Oversight Committee, reveal that Epstein was actively feeding Plaskett questions during the now-infamous February 2019 Michael Cohen hearing.

“Cohen brought up RONA – keeper of the secrets,” Epstein texted Plaskett, referring to longtime Trump executive assistant Rhona Graff.

“RONA?? Quick I’m up next — is that an acronym?” Plaskett shot back.

“That’s his assistant,” Epstein replied, steering Plaskett’s questioning in real-time.

Moments later, Plaskett began grilling Cohen about Graff on national television, aligning closely with Epstein’s suggestions.

The Feb. 27, 2019 House Oversight Committee hearing was framed by Democrats as an opportunity to expose Trump, who at the time had just finished his first term and was gearing up for re-election.

But now, five years later, documents reveal Epstein—already convicted on prostitution charges and widely known to be under federal scrutiny for sex trafficking—was pulling strings from behind the curtain.

“He’s opened the door to questions re: who are the other henchmen at Trump Org,” Epstein texted Plaskett, according to the records.

“Yup. Very aware and waiting my turn,” Plaskett responded.

When her turn came, she followed his script.

“Are there other people we should be meeting with?” she asked. Cohen then named Allen Weisselberg and Graff—two individuals Epstein specifically prompted her about.

Epstein then texted her a simple message: “Good work.”

Plaskett, who represents the U.S. Virgin Islands — the very location of Epstein’s infamous private islands, Little St. James and Great St. James — initially declined to comment when the Washington Post broke the story. Hours later, her office released a defensive statement.

“During the hearing, Congresswoman Plaskett received texts from staff, constituents and the public at large… including from Epstein,” the statement read. “She welcomes information that helps her get at the truth.”

Critics on the Hill aren’t buying it.

“This is one of the most disturbing breaches of congressional integrity we’ve seen in modern history,” said Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL). “A sitting delegate taking cues from a convicted sex trafficker during a congressional hearing targeting the President of the United States? That’s not oversight — that’s sabotage.”

President Donald J. Trump, now back in office after his 2024 victory, reacted swiftly, calling the report “confirmation of the sick, twisted alliance between Democrat elites and Epstein’s criminal empire.”

“We now have proof that Epstein was not just a monster, but a political operative,” Trump said Friday morning. “And the Democrats were taking his orders to try to destroy me and mislead the American people.”

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi wasted no time. On Friday afternoon, she tapped Jay Clayton, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, to launch a federal investigation into “Epstein’s political network and any illegal efforts to influence federal proceedings.”

“This will be handled with urgency and integrity,” Bondi stated, promising to follow the evidence “no matter where it leads.”

This isn’t the first time Plaskett’s name has been linked to the disgraced financier. In 2019, she promised to return $8,100 in campaign donations from Epstein — but only after intense public pressure. Initially, she planned to keep the money.

And in 2023, she made headlines for saying Trump “needs to be shot” on MSNBC — a remark she later attempted to walk back.

The latest revelations have ignited calls for her immediate resignation.

“This wasn’t just poor judgment,” said Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY). “This was collusion with a convicted predator to attack the sitting president. Every American should be disgusted.”

The House Oversight Committee is now reviewing thousands of pages of Epstein communications. Republican lawmakers are also demanding full transparency regarding Epstein’s contacts with other Democratic figures.

As Trump’s DOJ moves in, and congressional Republicans sharpen their knives, the question remains:

How deep did Epstein’s reach go — and how many Democrats were listening?
