TPUSA Staffer ‘Fired’ for Doubting the Story Behind Charlie Kirk’s Assassination

A Turning Point USA insider just detonated a fresh round of drama inside the conservative powerhouse — and she’s pointing the finger straight at the organization’s new leadership.

Aubrey Laitsch, who spent more than four years on TPUSA’s PR team, posted a video on February 5 laying out why she thinks she was suddenly pushed out after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. And according to her, the official explanation never made sense.

Laitsch said she was summoned to a closed-door meeting with high-level executives, including spokesman Andrew Kolvet. There, she was told an Uber driver had told a board member that his daughter was friends with a TPUSA employee who “didn’t like” Erika Kirk — and that unnamed employee supposedly turned out to be her.

Laitsch said she was stunned, insisting she had no issues with Erika and had even known her since the pageant circuit days. “We crossed paths years ago,” she said. “Nothing about that timeline adds up.”

Instead, she says her instincts point elsewhere.

She believes she was fired for raising quiet doubts about what really happened to Charlie Kirk on the day he was killed. “I have a gut feeling I was terminated because I’m questioning the narrative,” she said. “What’s being told in the mainstream media just doesn’t add up to me.”

Laitsch said making the video “breaks my heart,” but she felt she owed honesty to the man she viewed as a role model.

Her claims echo a story pushed by conservative commentator Candace Owens last month, who described what she called the “Scottsdale Witch Trials,” accusing TPUSA executives of dragging staff into interrogation-style meetings and probing their loyalty to Erika Kirk. Owens even referenced an almost identical Uber-driver rumor that supposedly sparked disciplinary action.

Laitsch also alleged she was reprimanded for not being “supportive enough” during the chaotic aftermath of Charlie’s assassination — a day she described as deeply traumatizing and relentless.

Owens previously said several TPUSA staffers told her they were laid off after working 20-hour days in the same period.

As of now, Erika Kirk and Turning Point USA have not responded to any of the allegations.
