Joe Biden Hit with Explosive New Cover-Up Claims

A new legal battle is heating up around former President Joe Biden after a conservative watchdog group accused his attorneys of scrambling to block the release of explosive audio recordings tied to the classified documents scandal that rocked Washington.

The Heritage Foundation and its fellow plaintiff, immigration and border security analyst Mike Howell, claim Biden’s legal team has been stalling efforts to release tapes that allegedly capture the former president discussing sensitive classified information with his ghostwriter while working on his memoirs.

And according to new court filings, one excuse from Biden’s attorneys left critics stunned.

The plaintiffs claim one of Biden’s lawyers delayed responding because “she had lost her voice and thus could not speak,” even as the clock ticked down in the high-stakes legal fight.

Now, the Department of Justice is reportedly preparing to release any available recordings by June 15 unless Biden’s team formally intervenes before a May 12 deadline.

The recordings at the center of the fight allegedly involve conversations between Biden and ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer, who worked on Biden’s books “Promises to Keep” and “Promise Me, Dad.”

Republicans have long argued the tapes could reveal whether Biden improperly shared classified information while discussing material from his vice presidency.

Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents already raised serious concerns about the former president’s conduct.

Hur’s report stated that Biden “relied extensively” on notebooks containing notes from his vice presidency while working on the memoirs. Some of those notes reportedly contained information classified at the Top Secret level.

According to Hur, Biden at times appeared cautious when discussing potentially classified material with Zwonitzer — but in other moments allegedly read portions of classified notes “nearly word for word.”

Despite those findings, Biden forcefully denied ever sharing classified information.

“I did not share classified information,” Biden insisted during a fiery press conference after Hur’s report dropped in 2024. “Guarantee you, I did not.”

But the controversy only deepened after investigators discovered Zwonitzer had deleted audio recordings of his interviews with Biden after learning about the special counsel probe.

Hur testified that the ghostwriter moved the files into his computer’s recycle bin, though investigators were eventually able to recover most of the recordings and transcripts.

Republicans were furious and even moved to hold Zwonitzer in contempt of Congress after he refused to hand over records tied to the investigation.

Now, Heritage Foundation attorneys say Biden’s legal team appears desperate to keep the tapes from reaching the public.

“The shenanigans aren’t over,” Howell told Daily Mail. “At the last possible second, and after every delay tactic possible, the autopen is objecting to the American people receiving transparency.”

Howell also claimed the Trump Justice Department is prepared to release the recordings if Biden does not intervene before the deadline.

The renewed scrutiny comes as critics continue hammering Biden over his handling of classified documents, including records found in his garage and private offices after he left the vice presidency.

Hur ultimately declined to recommend criminal charges against Biden, though the report painted a damaging picture of what investigators described as careless document handling.

Meanwhile, Republicans argue the full release of the Zwonitzer materials could expose even more troubling details and potentially spark new calls for reforms on how top government officials handle sensitive information.

The Daily Mail reported that Biden’s representatives have not publicly commented on the latest court fight.
