Donald Trump ‘Cannot be Racist’ Due to His Friendships

UFC boss Dana White is once again going to war for President Donald Trump, this time using Trump’s long friendship with Michael Jackson as proof that the president is not the racist monster his critics claim he is.

White, one of Trump’s most loyal celebrity allies, made the fiery defense during an interview on The New Yorker Radio Hour, where he pushed back hard against years of attacks accusing Trump of racism, fascism and extremism.

According to White, the idea simply does not match the man he knows.

“These things that he’s a racist and he’s a Nazi and he’s this and that,” White said, arguing that old footage of Trump defending Michael Jackson shows a very different side of the president.

White pointed to Trump’s relationship with the late King of Pop, saying Jackson spent time around Trump’s family and children for years.

“You see all these videos now popping up of Trump defending Michael Jackson and the type of person that he was,” White said. “Michael Jackson was around his children and around his family a lot.”

But the comment immediately sparked pushback from host David Remnick, who noted Jackson’s deeply controversial past.

Jackson faced multiple allegations of child sexual abuse during his lifetime. He was accused in 1993 and later went on trial in 2005, where he was acquitted on all counts.

White admitted Jackson was “flawed,” but appeared skeptical when Remnick described the singer as abusive.

“I don’t know if that’s true,” White said. “But I can tell you the president had a very good relationship with Michael Jackson and had Michael Jackson around his kids all the time.”

Then White doubled down.

“So to call the guy a racist is crazy,” he said. “He’s not a racist.”

The interview grew even more tense when Remnick brought up a controversial Trump post involving former President Barack Obama. White said he had not seen it and could not speak directly to it.

But he refused to back down from his larger point.

“If he was that type of person, I never would associate with that type of a person, no matter who he was,” White said.

When pressed again, White stood firm.

“He’s not a racist. He’s not a fascist. He loves this country,” White declared.

White added that, in his view, Trump is on the side of all Americans regardless of race or religion.

“If you’re an American — race, religion, whatever it is — President Trump is on your team,” he said. “That I guarantee you.”

The comments are already setting off a political firestorm. Trump’s supporters are praising White for saying out loud what they believe the media refuses to admit. Trump’s critics, meanwhile, are blasting the Michael Jackson defense as bizarre and unconvincing.

Either way, White made one thing clear: he is not abandoning Trump, and he is not apologizing for defending him.
