Iran’s ruling religious elite has escalated its threats against the United States and Israel, with powerful clerics now openly calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In a stunning 10-point statement, Iran’s 88-member Assembly of Experts declared Trump and Netanyahu mahdour al-dam — a term meaning their blood may be shed under Islamic law.
The hardline clerics, who are responsible for selecting and overseeing Iran’s supreme leader, claimed that killing “the criminal American president” and “the wicked prime minister of the Zionist regime” was a religious duty that should be carried out “under any circumstances.”
“It is obligatory upon any duty-bound person who gains access to these criminals to send them to hell,” the clerics wrote, according to reports.
The chilling threat comes as tensions between Iran, the U.S., and Israel remain dangerously high, despite ongoing cease-fire talks aimed at ending the war that has raged since February 28.
Iranian regime mouthpieces are also fueling the flames.
The Iranian newspaper Hamshahri reportedly splashed Trump’s face across its front page inside the crosshairs of a rifle scope, with the headline: “Revenge is certain.”
The clerics framed the threats as part of an effort to avenge the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, calling retaliation a matter of “paramount” importance.
Their statement also blasted the current cease-fire negotiations, claiming the talks are little more than a stall tactic giving Washington time to prepare another round of attacks.
“The likelihood of a renewed attack after will be very high,” the clerics warned, pointing to deadlines laid out in the 14-point memorandum of understanding signed by the U.S. and Iran.
They demanded that the issues in the agreement be resolved within the 30-day and 60-day windows, while also urging supporters of the Iranian regime to flood the streets “in the leader’s name.”
“The people’s presence is necessary and decisive,” they declared.
The explosive statement underscores what critics of Tehran have long warned: Iran’s ruling regime is not simply negotiating from a position of diplomacy, but from one of threats, religious extremism, and open hostility toward Western leaders.
For Trump and Netanyahu, both of whom have taken hardline stances against Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional influence, the message from Tehran’s clerics was unmistakable.
The regime is not just angry.
It is openly calling for blood.

All the clerics should be sent to allah, with a big suit and forced to swallow pig blood before they die. Justice served.

Their statement should remove any stigma that may be there for bombing their next meeting. Or the one after that.
Maybe now is the time to get Hillary Clinton on our side to get rid of our enemies. She’s good at making people disappear.
All the more reason to exterminate every cleric in Iran
