Dem Campaigner Calls on Followers to ‘Kill Your Local Republican’

A transgender activist who briefly volunteered for a Democratic congressional candidate in Wisconsin is drawing outrage after posting a series of disturbing videos and messages calling for violence against Republicans and threatening what the activist described as a “trans jihad” against the MAGA movement.

Teha Delaruelle, a former volunteer for Democratic Socialist congressional candidate Katrina deVille, appeared in one social media video seated in front of a dry-erase board bearing the message “kill your local Republican.”

“We’re going to make this the moderate position for the state of Wisconsin,” Delaruelle said while pointing toward the writing.

“But I need your help, because we have one month to do this, so let’s do it,” the activist added before giving the camera two thumbs-up.

The apparent one-month deadline may have referred to Wisconsin’s Aug. 11 Democratic primary. DeVille is competing against two other Democrats for the chance to challenge Republican Rep. Tony Wied, a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump.

In another alarming recording, Delaruelle declared, “Just a reminder, we are doing trans jihad.”

The video included an image of a transgender pride flag featuring an arm holding what appeared to be a rifle, along with writing that appeared to be in Arabic.

Delaruelle then described MAGA supporters as “the oppressor,” “bigots” and “animals,” while claiming transgender people and other marginalized groups had spent decades living with anxiety and fear.

“We’re gonna do the reverse,” Delaruelle said. “We’re gonna make it so that they will be the ones that have to walk down the streets in fear, anxiety and worry.”

The activist continued by saying that fear would not last only a few days or weeks.

“This is their new reality,” Delaruelle said. “And it’s never gonna change.”

The video ended with Delaruelle raising two fingers and saying, “Peace.”

Similar rhetoric appeared in a Substack post published earlier this month. In that message, Delaruelle alleged that transgender and queer people were facing an ongoing “genocide” and argued that the response should be an existential war.

“Society desires nothing less than our total extermination, therefore we must destroy their society,” the post said. “We must answer this call to a[n] existential struggle, our jihad, our Trans Jihad.”

DeVille told The New York Post that Delaruelle had volunteered for her campaign only “for a very short while.”

The candidate said the activist was removed after campaign officials concluded Delaruelle was “deeply troubled” and “actively creating a dangerous situation” around the campaign.

DeVille said Delaruelle was later blocked from all of her campaign accounts and pages.

She also strongly condemned the calls for violence.

“I want to be clear that I do not accept or condone violence or threats toward anyone and do not encourage violence, hate, or threats of any kind,” deVille said.

The candidate added that Delaruelle’s behavior had also made her own life more dangerous.

“The threats she has posed have also made my life more dangerous, and I understand first hand how awful this is, how awful it feels, and how absolutely unacceptable any of this is,” deVille said.

She said she hoped Delaruelle would receive help and that no one would be harmed.

“I also hope that she is able to get help and find peace, and that no one becomes hurt or endangered from this senseless situation,” deVille said.

Delaruelle did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

  1. Is there anyone at all in today’s progressive/socialist controlled Democrat party who isn’t hateful, weird, or just plain nuts?
