Iran’s regime has taken its threats against President Donald Trump to a disturbing new level.
A chilling billboard unveiled in central Tehran shows portraits of Trump and his family displayed above coffins draped in American flags, with the White House looming in the background.
The mural, placed in Palestine Square, carries the slogan “Blood for Blood” and appears to directly threaten the U.S. first family as tensions between Washington, Israel and Tehran continue to spiral.
The image shows Trump alongside First Lady Melania Trump and what appear to be his five children: Ivanka, Barron, Tiffany, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump.
It is the latest in a wave of state-produced propaganda murals in Iran that have openly threatened the president and promoted revenge against the United States.
Another display that recently appeared in Tehran’s Enghelab Square showed Trump lying in an open black coffin, his eyes closed and his hair disheveled, beneath the words “We kill Trump” in both Persian and English.
The newest mural appears to be a response to the deaths of members of Ali Khamenei’s family after U.S.-Israeli strikes earlier this year.
Khamenei, Iran’s late supreme leader, was killed on February 28 in attacks that also killed his daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and infant granddaughter. Images of Khamenei and his relatives have since been displayed across Iran, including during his funeral this month.
The Tehran billboard suggests the regime is now trying to turn that grief into a public threat aimed not just at Trump, but at his family.
For years, the wall in Palestine Square has served as a state-controlled message board for anti-American and anti-Israel threats. The murals are changed frequently and often become gathering points for regime supporters, who wave Palestinian and Hezbollah flags at night.
Tehran’s largest murals, including those in Valiasr Square, are designed by the Owj Arts and Media Organization, a group tied to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The artwork is often used to attack negotiations with the U.S. and promote the regime’s nuclear, missile and regional ambitions.
But the latest images have become more graphic and more personal as the Middle East conflict deepens.
In recent weeks, Trump has also been depicted with his face inside a rifle’s crosshairs. Another mural asked “Who’s next?” beneath the name of Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who died Saturday at age 71.
Trump has previously warned that any Iranian attempt to assassinate him would be met with a “severe and destructive” U.S. response.
Iranian officials and state-aligned media have repeatedly called for “revenge” following Khamenei’s death. His son and successor, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has even pledged that those responsible for the killing would not die “peacefully in their beds.”
The latest billboard is more than just propaganda. It is a public threat from a hostile regime that has repeatedly shown the world exactly how far it is willing to go.
And this time, Iran did not stop at threatening Trump.
It put his family on the wall.
