Hunter Biden Slams CNN Star in Vulgar Meltdown

Hunter Biden is once again making headlines — and this time, he is taking aim at one of CNN’s biggest names.

The former first son went on a foul-mouthed tear against CNN anchor Jake Tapper after Tapper co-authored Original Sin, a new book digging into the behind-the-scenes turmoil surrounding former President Joe Biden’s doomed 2024 re-election campaign.

Appearing on Don Lemon’s podcast, Hunter did not hold back.

“I think that Jake is a complete and utter a–hole,” Hunter said, blasting Tapper’s work and calling him a “poor” journalist.

But Hunter was not finished. He also attacked Tapper personally, saying, “I don’t think he’s a very decent human being.”

The rant quickly escalated from media criticism to full-blown personal warfare, with Hunter comparing Tapper to Brick Tamland, the dimwitted weatherman from Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

“I think he’s full of f–king s–t,” Hunter added.

The outburst came after Tapper’s book took a hard look at Joe Biden’s decision to remain in the 2024 presidential race despite growing concerns inside and outside the Democratic Party about his age, stamina and fitness for office.

Biden, now 83, initially pressed ahead with his re-election bid after securing the Democratic nomination, setting up a rematch with President Donald Trump. But public confidence in the aging president began to unravel as he faced mounting criticism over visible signs of decline.

Joe Biden eventually dropped out of the race, but by then, many Democrats believed the damage had already been done.

Tapper’s book reportedly argues that Hunter Biden and then-first lady Jill Biden played a role in insulating Joe from the political reality around him, helping delay the decision to step aside. That allegation appears to have infuriated Hunter.

Speaking to Lemon, Hunter denied the claim and made it clear he had no interest in offering a polite response.

“The way that he has spoken about me, the way he has spoken about my mother, the way that he has spoken about my father, the idea that I would tell you — and be full of s–t like everybody else usually is, and say, ‘Well, you know, I’d like to respect Jake’s long career in journalism and, you know, he’s done good things before’ — you know what? I don’t have to say that. I’m not running for anything,” Hunter said.

That last line may say it all.

Hunter Biden, long a lightning rod for controversy during his father’s time in office, appeared to embrace the fact that he no longer has to play by the usual political rules. But his explosive comments also reopened questions about the Biden family’s role in one of the most consequential political collapses in modern Democratic politics.

After Joe Biden finally exited the race, then-Vice President Kamala Harris stepped in as the Democratic nominee. But according to party insiders cited by Tapper, Biden’s delayed departure left Harris with too little time to introduce herself to voters, build momentum and make a convincing case against Trump.

In the end, Trump won the election and swept the swing states, delivering a devastating blow to Democrats who had spent months insisting Biden was fit for another term.

Tapper has not publicly responded to Hunter’s insults, but CNN stood firmly behind its anchor.

“Jake Tapper is a respected journalist and his work speaks for itself,” a CNN representative told Mediaite.

“For decades, he has challenged and scrutinized those in power, regardless of party, ideology, or title. That’s the job, and he’s done it exceptionally well. These comments are frankly ridiculous and shouldn’t warrant news coverage.”

Despite the backlash from Hunter Biden, Tapper remains a major figure at CNN. He continues to host The Lead with Jake Tapper on weekdays and State of the Union on Sunday mornings.

Still, Hunter’s angry reaction has only drawn more attention to Tapper’s book — and to the lingering fallout from Joe Biden’s disastrous 2024 campaign.

For Republicans, the episode may feel like confirmation of what they argued for years: that Biden’s inner circle worked overtime to protect him from scrutiny, while major questions about his ability to lead were dismissed until it was too late.

Now, with Trump back in the White House and Democrats still sorting through the wreckage, Hunter Biden’s profanity-laced attack on Tapper is doing little to quiet the controversy.

If anything, it has poured gasoline on it.
