Tom Cruise is the #1 Victim of Church of Scientology Claims Former Head

In an interview with Daily Mail, Mitch Brisker, former senior director at Scientology’s Golden Era Studios, made some striking claims about actor Tom Cruise and his relationship with the Church of Scientology. According to Brisker, Cruise, who has long been the most famous face of the controversial organization, is the “number one victim” of Scientology.

Tom Cruise, known for his deep involvement with the church since the 1980s, has always publicly supported its mission. However, Brisker’s revelations paint a different picture of Cruise’s relationship with Scientology. “I know people will disagree with me, but it’s like he’s living in a distorted reality. He’s fully in the matrix,” Brisker said, alluding to how disconnected Cruise seems from the real world due to his involvement with the church.

While Hollywood might admire Cruise’s acting talent, Brisker’s words highlight a different side of the actor’s life—one dominated by Scientology’s influence. He also mentioned Cruise’s unusually close bond with Scientology’s leader, David Miscavige, describing them as “separated at birth.” According to Brisker, the two share more than just friendship, with Cruise seemingly holding Miscavige in a state of near-worship.

This friendship, according to Brisker, has come at a high cost. “All of his marriages have disintegrated because of his ‘friend’ David Miscavige, and all of his ex-wives have been labeled enemies of the church,” Brisker revealed. He even noted Cruise’s estrangement from his biological daughter, Suri, suggesting that Scientology’s influence played a significant role in isolating Cruise from his family.

These claims echo the sentiments of former Scientologists like Leah Remini, who has been outspoken about the abuses within the church. In a past interview, Remini explained why she believes Cruise stays committed: “The power he gets from the church is unparalleled. There’s no reason for him to walk away.” Remini has also accused Scientology of enabling Cruise to maintain an extraordinary level of control over his environment, where staff members reportedly can’t even express their opinions or emotions around him.

Brisker didn’t stop at exposing Cruise’s entanglements; he also shared alarming insights into the church’s internal workings. He described David Miscavige as an “absolute control freak” who micromanages every aspect of the church’s operations. “Nothing happens in Scientology without Miscavige’s approval, not even what soap is used on their luxury cruise liner,” Brisker claimed.

One of the most unsettling revelations involves Shelly Miscavige, David’s wife, who hasn’t been seen publicly since 2007. While rumors have swirled about her fate, Brisker doesn’t believe she’s being held against her will. Instead, he suspects she’s in isolation at a hidden base in Crestline, California.

As more information comes to light—like the recent leak of over 40,000 internal Scientology files—Brisker’s book The Big Lie: How I Made an Evil Cult Look Good adds to a growing wave of criticism. He believes the church is now facing its “biggest, most urgent crisis in living memory.”

The influence of Scientology on Hollywood figures like Tom Cruise remains a cautionary tale of how power, control, and celebrity intertwine in ways the public rarely sees.
