Former President Joe Biden and wife Jill are quietly maneuvering for a political comeback — but the Democratic Party isn’t rolling out the red carpet.
According to high-level leaks and insider chatter, the Bidens are telling top Democratic donors and party brass they’re ready to get back in the game. But instead of cheers, they’re facing eye-rolls and cold shoulders.
“They want back in, and they’re making calls,” one senior Democratic aide told Patriot Sentinel. “But the party’s moved on. This isn’t 2020 anymore — and Joe’s not the future.”
Joe Biden, who officially dropped out of the 2024 race amid a wave of health concerns and internal party pressure, has been meeting behind closed doors with DNC officials, including new chairman Ken Martin. But word from those meetings is bleak: few want him in front of a mic, let alone on the campaign trail.
“It’s time for fresh blood,” said a longtime Democratic strategist. “We can’t afford to drag an 82-year-old relic around the country when we’re losing independents by the day.”
Even Democratic donors — once staunch Biden backers — are losing faith.
“Who’s going to want Joe Biden back in the game?” asked one major Democratic donor anonymously. “He did his part. Now it’s time to exit gracefully.”
Party veterans are split. Some still praise Biden as a “beloved elder statesman” who could help in symbolic roles. Others say he represents everything voters want to forget.
Alan Kessler, a longtime Democratic fundraiser in Philadelphia, tried to thread the needle:
“Joe still has fans, especially in places like Scranton. But now is not the time. We need new leadership.”
Not everyone agrees. Nebraska Democratic leader Jane Kleeb defended the former president, calling him a “keynote-worthy figure.”
“If you ask any state chair if they’d want Joe to speak at their annual dinner, they’d say yes. He’s still beloved by many.”
But that affection isn’t translating into votes.
Recent polling shows Democratic popularity has cratered. Just 27% of registered voters now view the party positively — a devastating low heading into 2024’s critical Senate races.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has been surging in early swing-state matchups and seems amused by Biden’s reentry plan.
“I hope he comes back,” Trump told reporters with a grin on Friday. “I’d love to run against him again — if he can stay awake long enough.”
Jill Biden isn’t sitting idle either. The former first lady is reportedly preparing to campaign and host fundraisers — despite no official role.
A source close to Jill told Patriot Sentinel:
“She knows her platform still carries weight. She’s ready to help however she can — even if the party isn’t asking.”
While plotting their reentry, the Bidens are juggling a side project: Joe’s memoir. Sources say the ex-president has been huddling with former staff like Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan, trying to shape his legacy.
He’s also reportedly splitting time between Delaware and a taxpayer-funded office in D.C., still clinging to the trappings of a presidency that ended in retreat.
“He’s writing his side of the story,” one former staffer said. “But even his book isn’t generating much buzz.”
While Joe and Jill Biden may want back into the political arena, many in their party see them as symbols of a fading era — not the future.
And with President Trump energizing the GOP base and independents souring on the left’s agenda, Biden’s return may be less of a comeback — and more of a distraction.

Tell th
Why Would he Bidens want to come back after being screwed over and kicked to the curb by their own Democratic Political Party? Could it be the pull of all those who were Pardoned with an autopen and paid Hunter so he could move the South Africa Lavish life, a nation with no extradition treaty with the USA? Are the Democrats thinking Joe might be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat for them? Looking at Joes picture, he look like a nutty professor should have retired. Joe has it made now and forget politics now. He made his mark, make his millions of dollars, has all his mansions paid off, has his Corvette that he can no longer drive by himself, and an overcontrolling wife that rules every momtent of his life. The beach sounds like a good place to be. Summer is coming and he should have staked out a good spot by now.
