Fired Comey Daughter Slams Trump as ‘Tyrant’ in Explosive DOJ Exit Email

High-profile prosecutor booted amid Epstein scandal fallout, dad under new probe

In a stunning shake-up rocking the Department of Justice, Maurene Comey—daughter of former FBI Director and Trump adversary James Comey—was abruptly fired this week, prompting her to blast President Trump as a “tyrant” in a fiery farewell message that’s raising eyebrows across Washington.

Comey, 36, had spent a decade as a federal prosecutor in Manhattan’s powerful Southern District of New York. She played major roles in the prosecutions of Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and more recently, Sean “Diddy” Combs. But now she’s out—without warning, without explanation.

“If a career prosecutor can be fired without reason, fear may seep into the decisions of those who remain,” she wrote in a scathing email to DOJ colleagues, leaked to The New York Times. “Fear is the tool of a tyrant, wielded to suppress independent thought. Do not let that happen.”

Purged Without Warning

Comey’s termination letter, according to sources, cited Article II of the U.S. Constitution—the president’s executive authority—suggesting her dismissal came straight from the top. Neither the White House nor the DOJ provided further comment, citing “personnel matters.”

But the silence has only fueled speculation. With President Trump in his second term and Attorney General Pam Bondi under pressure to release long-awaited “Epstein files,” many believe Comey’s firing is political.

“She went after Epstein, Maxwell, and Diddy,” one Justice Department insider told us. “That’s not a résumé that wins you friends in high places.”

Trump Unleashed

Trump, who has repeatedly dismissed interest in the Epstein case as a “Democrat hoax,” torched his own former supporters in a Wednesday Truth Social rant.

“My PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bulls–t,’ hook, line, and sinker,” he posted. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”

The president also doubled down on branding the Epstein files as “left-wing fantasy,” dismissing mounting demands from both conservatives and Democrats for transparency.

Family Ties and MAGA Pressure

Comey’s father, James Comey, remains one of Trump’s most notorious enemies. The president famously fired him as FBI director in 2017 amid the agency’s probe into Russian election interference. Now, in a chilling twist, James Comey is once again under investigation—this time for allegedly making false statements to Congress.

And that’s not all. The former bureau chief was reportedly questioned by the Secret Service in May after posting an Instagram photo of seashells spelling out “86 47”—a phrase some interpreted as a veiled threat against the 47th president, Trump. He denied the accusation but later deleted the post.

Trump ally Laura Loomer had previously demanded Maurene Comey’s dismissal, calling her a “deep state plant” who should be “nowhere near the Justice Department.”

No Conviction in Diddy Case

Maurene Comey’s most recent high-profile case—prosecuting Sean “Diddy” Combs on sex trafficking and racketeering charges—ended without a conviction on the top counts. Insiders say the case was politically risky from the start, touching on Hollywood, hip-hop, and deep-pocketed Democratic donors.

Critics argue her firing is retribution for going after elites. Supporters of the administration say it’s just long-overdue accountability.

What’s Next

With no official reason offered, Comey’s firing has thrown the DOJ into new turmoil. Critics warn it could send a chilling message to career prosecutors who challenge powerful figures—or investigate inconvenient truths.

James Comey, meanwhile, is reportedly considering legal action if charges are filed against him.

“Firing a daughter to punish the father—this is North Korea-style politics,” said one former DOJ official.

Whether Maurene Comey’s ouster is political revenge or justified personnel action, one thing is clear: the war between the Trump administration and the Comey family isn’t over. It’s just getting started.

  1. A North Korea style prosecution would mean that Comey’s children, siblings, and parents would all be killed, so enough of the hyperbole. Maybe his daughter was fired because, despite a mountain of evidence, she failed to get a conviction in the P Diddy case.

  2. This person couldn\’t get one conviction in the Sean Combs trial after all the incriminating testimony and evidence and she thinks she should still have a job? Amazing chutzpah.

  3. How can people judge others when they don\’t have all the true facts just because you know someone has been seen with some one who is🤔 questionable

  4. She’s just another distraction designed to slow down the progress of getting America back to its greatness prior to the Obama/Biden administrations’ waves of destructive acts of socializing our nation.
