Chris Martin’s Kiss Cam Joke Sparks Online Affair Drama

What started as a playful moment during a Coldplay concert quickly turned into internet-fueled scandal.

While performing at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, frontman Chris Martin took a break from singing to poke fun at couples appearing on the venue’s Kiss Cam. But one particular pair’s reaction had everyone doing a double take.

“Whoa, look at these two,” Martin sang, spotting a man and woman cozying up on the big screen. As the camera zoomed in, the woman immediately turned away while the man ducked out of frame. That’s when Martin added, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.” The crowd erupted in laughter—but online, the mood turned serious.

@dailymail Chris Martin caught one camera-shy couple by surprise as he addressed the audience at a Coldplay concert – and joked that they were 'either having an affair' or were just very bashful. As the frontman panned his 'kiss cam' around the crowd at Gillette Stadium in Boston on Wednesday, the pair looked horrified to be seen by thousands on the big screen. What do you think? Internet sleuths quickly claimed the mystery duo were none other than Andy Byron, CEO of New York tech firm Astronomer, and his Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot. The pair have reportedly worked closely for years and are often seen together in company photos. But until now, their relationship was presumed to be strictly professional.

Not anymore.

Within hours, the CEO’s LinkedIn page was flooded with comments like, “Coldplay setlist update: Fix You, A Sky Full of Stars, and the CEO getting caught with HR in Section 102.” Others wrote, “Where’s the head of HR now?” and “Your wife, her husband,” along with plenty of raised-eyebrow emojis.

Neither Byron nor Cabot has publicly commented on the viral moment, and reps have stayed quiet as speculation mounts.

Chris Martin, who was famously married to Gwyneth Paltrow, might have just unknowingly launched the messiest subplot of Coldplay’s tour.

All from one cheeky line on the Jumbotron.
