Hunter Biden Scandal Still Buried — Even as Whistleblowers Sound the Alarm

As President Trump leads America through a second term focused on restoring law and order, the Biden family saga continues to fester — and the cover-up appears far from over.

This week, two familiar names resurfaced in Washington: Hunter Biden, the embattled First Son-turned-media victim, and David Weiss, the man who many believe helped bury the truth.

Weiss — now Special Counsel and formerly U.S. Attorney in Joe Biden’s home state of Delaware — appeared before Congress to defend his five-year “investigation” into Hunter Biden’s shady foreign dealings. His conclusion? There just wasn’t enough to go after Hunter under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

But investigators on the ground tell a different story.

Whistleblowers Silenced, Evidence Suppressed

IRS Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley and Agent Joseph Ziegler risked their careers to tell the American people what really happened. Their bombshell testimony and new book, “The Whistleblowers v. the Big Guy,” paints a chilling picture of obstruction from inside the DOJ.

“This was never about justice,” said Shapley. “It was about protecting Joe Biden at all costs.”

Shapley and Ziegler allege that every time they followed the money trail — from Ukraine to China to Romania — the brakes were slammed. Interviews canceled. Search warrants denied. Subpoenas blocked. And always the same reason: “bad optics.”

One glaring example? In 2020, Hunter was living in a guesthouse at Joe Biden’s Delaware estate. Investigators sought a search warrant as part of a FARA probe. Weiss’ top deputy, Lesley Wolf, killed it — and ordered all mentions of “Political Figure 1,” code for Joe Biden, scrubbed from warrant documents.

“Please focus on FARA evidence only,” she wrote in an email. “There should be nothing about Political Figure 1 in here.”

Text Messages Tie Joe to Hunter’s Deals

Perhaps the most damning piece of evidence was a WhatsApp message from Hunter to a Chinese energy executive on July 30, 2017:

“I am sitting here with my father,” Hunter wrote. “We would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled… I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows… you will regret not following my direction.”

Despite this clear reference to Joe Biden’s presence during a multi-million-dollar foreign negotiation, Weiss and DOJ officials refused to allow investigators to use phone location data to confirm Joe’s whereabouts.

“They didn’t want to know,” said Ziegler. “Because it would blow the whole thing open.”

Laptop Trail Ignored

The infamous “laptop from hell” continues to be a goldmine of incriminating evidence — and a headache for Biden loyalists. The New York Post first published a 2015 email from a Burisma executive thanking Hunter for arranging a meeting with his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden.

That dinner, held at Café Milano in D.C., included guests from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Russia. Devon Archer, Hunter’s former business partner, confirmed the guest list and Joe’s attendance.

Emails also tied Hunter’s lobbying efforts with Blue Star Strategies directly to his Burisma board seat. But the DOJ refused to act.

The Two-Tiered Justice System

While Hunter Biden walked free, others weren’t so lucky.

Paul Manafort, President Trump’s former campaign manager, was prosecuted under FARA. So was Gal Luft — the whistleblower who alerted the DOJ in 2019 that Hunter and Jim Biden were on the Chinese payroll. Luft’s warnings were buried. Instead, he was indicted right before Republicans retook the House in 2022. He now sits in a Cypriot jail cell.

Meanwhile, Hunter enjoyed sweetheart deals, media sympathy, and in the final days of Joe Biden’s presidency — a sweeping pardon covering everything from felony tax charges to an illegal gun purchase.

Retaliation Against the Truth-Tellers

After Shapley and Ziegler testified before Congress, Weiss had them yanked from the case. The Office of Special Counsel later confirmed the IRS illegally retaliated against them for making protected disclosures.

“They wanted us gone,” Shapley said. “We got too close to the truth.”

Why It Still Matters

As President Trump focuses on rebuilding trust in federal institutions, the Hunter Biden saga remains a potent example of what went wrong in the previous administration.

“This wasn’t just a scandal,” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH). “It was the largest political protection racket in modern history. And Americans deserve accountability.”

From secret meetings to stonewalled subpoenas to weaponized justice, the Biden family saga reads like a political thriller. But this isn’t fiction.

It’s real. It happened. And it’s still being covered up.
