Terrifying Video Shows SUV Crashing into Restaurant, Nearly Killing Couple

Terrifying footage shows the moment two food influencers narrowly escaped death when an SUV smashed through a restaurant window in Houston, sending glass and debris flying as it plowed straight into their table.

Nina Santiago, best known for her YouTube channel “Nina Unrated,” where she has nearly 400,000 subscribers, was filming herself eating with her boyfriend, Patrick Blackwood, at CuVee’s Culinary Creations on Saturday around 4:40 p.m. when chaos erupted.

In the viral video, the couple can be seen casually enjoying slider sandwiches when, out of nowhere, an SUV crashes through the glass wall directly into them. The impact sends their table toppling and hurls Santiago to the ground as shards of glass explode across the restaurant.

“It hit us directly, me on his left, him on my right, as I bit into a delicious salmon slider,” Santiago later shared on Instagram. “Out of nowhere — but we survived.”

Santiago posted photos of her bloodied injuries, showing cuts to her face and arms, and expressed gratitude for being alive. “I’m beyond grateful to be alive after an SUV crashed through the glass wall, shattering everything while Patrick and I recorded an eating show,” she wrote. “Tomorrow is not promised. This could’ve been our last meal.”

Fans flooded the couple’s social media with prayers and support. “That brother shielded you quick too. God bless you both,” one commenter wrote, while another added, “So happy y’all are okay! Definitely protected by God!”

According to the restaurant owner, the female driver was arriving for a private event when she accidentally left her SUV in gear. Authorities confirmed that after she released the brake, the vehicle rolled forward into the restaurant, striking the couple’s booth.

Both Santiago and Blackwood were treated at a local hospital, though Blackwood escaped with minor injuries.
