Clintons Ordered to Testify in Epstein Investigation

The walls may finally be closing in on the Clintons.

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been officially ordered to testify before Congress as part of the House Oversight Committee’s deepening investigation into the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s powerful inner circle.

The subpoenas, issued earlier this year by Rep. James Comer (R-KY), demand the Clintons appear for in-person depositions in December—marking one of the most serious moves yet in a long-running effort to uncover the true extent of Epstein’s reach into America’s political elite.

Over the years, the Clintons’ names have repeatedly surfaced in connection with Epstein and his longtime companion, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell. While both Clintons have denied any wrongdoing, flight logs, photographs, and travel records tell a more complicated story.

Bill Clinton reportedly took at least 26 flights on Epstein’s infamous private jet, dubbed the “Lolita Express,” with several trips logged without Secret Service detail. Though he’s denied ever visiting Epstein’s island in the Virgin Islands, witnesses and court documents have challenged that account.

Now, with Republicans back in control of the House and President Trump firmly in office, the long-dormant questions about these relationships are being revisited with renewed urgency.

“This isn’t about political theater,” Rep. Comer said in a statement.
“This is about transparency, truth, and holding even the most powerful individuals accountable.”

According to congressional sources:

  • Bill Clinton is scheduled to testify at 10:00 A.M. on December 17
  • Hillary Clinton will follow the next morning, December 18 at 10:00 A.M.

The hearings will take place behind closed doors in Washington, D.C., and will reportedly focus on their personal and professional interactions with Epstein and Maxwell, including travel, meetings, and correspondence.

In a November 3 letter, the Clintons’ attorney, David Kendall, attempted to steer the committee away from live questioning by proposing a “written proffer”—a legal term for a voluntary summary of what a witness might say.

Kendall argued that the Clintons have “little information” to offer and claimed their ties to Epstein were irrelevant since the encounters occurred outside their official duties.

But Comer swiftly rejected the offer.

“Your position amounts to a demand that the Committee forgo in-person testimony potentially relevant to its oversight,” Comer wrote in a sharp reply.
“It is precisely the fact that President Clinton and Secretary Clinton maintained relationships with Mr. Epstein and Ms. Maxwell in their personal capacities that is of interest.”

While Epstein’s death in 2019 ended criminal proceedings against him, public suspicion has only grown. His black book, flight logs, and financial records suggest ties to world leaders, billionaires, media moguls, and yes—former U.S. presidents.

The Clintons have consistently distanced themselves from the scandal, but their social links to Epstein have never been fully explained. Ghislaine Maxwell was even a guest at Chelsea Clinton’s wedding in 2010, a detail critics say underscores how deep those ties may go.

Now, Comer and other House Republicans say it’s time to get answers on the record—under oath.

“The American people deserve to know the full extent of Epstein’s connections,” said Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC).
“No one should be allowed to hide behind their title or their last name.”

With President Donald J. Trump back in the White House and House Republicans in charge, the political landscape has shifted. What was once considered off-limits is now fair game.

The Clinton depositions are part of a broader effort by House investigators to shine a light on how Epstein operated unchecked for years—and who may have protected him.

“This is not about partisanship,” Comer reiterated.
“This is about truth, justice, and ensuring something like this never happens again.”

The Clinton testimony could have far-reaching consequences—not only for the Epstein investigation, but for how political elites are scrutinized moving forward.

  1. Agreed, they need to make these hearings public and publish transcripts immediately. No more hiding this information. And NOTHING should be redacted for any reason.
