Democrat Uses WRONG BLACK WOMAN in Shocking Endorsement Promo Blunder

In a jaw-dropping move that’s setting X (formerly Twitter) on fire, California Democrat Esther Kim Varet used the photo of a completely different Black woman to promote an endorsement from Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) — and now Republicans are tearing into the campaign as “racist,” “arrogant,” and “clueless.”

The photo was splashed across Varet’s official campaign website, parading a random Black woman as if she were Jasmine Crockett. It wasn’t.

Moments after Fox News Digital asked questions, the image vanished. But the damage was done.

“This isn’t just some typo,” said Christian Martinez, national Hispanic press secretary for the National Republican Congressional Committee. “This is what happens when Democrats tokenize minorities and treat identity like a prop. Racist. Arrogant. Totally out of touch.”

Esther Kim Varet isn’t just another far-left activist — she’s a millionaire art dealer with luxury galleries in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Seoul. Now she wants to represent the working-class voters of California’s 40th District — and she’s already mocking her opponent’s accent and using fake images of Black leaders to boost her progressive credentials.

In an earlier post, Varet called Rep. Young Kim, a Trump-supporting Korean American congresswoman, an “ESL puppet.”

She also allegedly told a Latino GOP press officer to “prove you’re a REAL Latino.”

“This is a pattern of disgusting behavior,” Martinez added. “She hides behind identity politics, but when you scratch the surface, there’s nothing but hate.”

Varet’s campaign comes as California Democrats rush to redraw congressional maps to stack the deck in 2026. The state’s newly approved redistricting plan is designed to flip Republican districts like CA-40 — where President Trump won strong support in 2024.

Meanwhile, red states like Texas have redrawn their own maps to boost conservative representation — including several new Trump-leaning districts.

In Varet’s race, Republican Rep. Young Kim now faces both a Democrat challenger from the left and a GOP challenger from the right: Rep. Ken Calvert, making this one of the most-watched contests in the country.

Crockett, a controversial House Democrat from Texas, recently made headlines for saying Hispanic Trump voters have a “slave mentality” — a statement she later tried to walk back after public backlash.

Still, Varet proudly plastered her name and (wrong) face on her campaign site — hoping the endorsement would buy her credibility in minority-heavy precincts.

Instead, she got backlash.

“Imagine if a Republican did this,” said GOP strategist James Falconer. “It’d be national news for weeks. But when a Democrat does it? They call it a ‘mistake’ and move on. This is pure hypocrisy.”

This isn’t just a campaign slip-up — it’s a snapshot of how coastal Democrats really see voters of color. Interchangeable. Useful. Disposable.

In Trump’s America, voters aren’t buying it anymore.

  1. Almost the entire art and “entertainment’ industry is composed of air heads living in the make-believe world they’ve invented. So, this is no surprise whatsoever. Even less surprising would have been if they’d use the image if an AI invented woman.
