Roseanne Barr is back in the spotlight, and this time it is not because of a sitcom comeback.
The 73-year-old comedian is facing fresh attention after bizarre resurfaced comments about Hollywood elites allegedly “eating babies” began making the rounds again online.
The comments, made during a 2024 appearance with Tucker Carlson in Fort Worth, Texas, have reemerged shortly after Barr admitted she was kicked out of her own granddaughter’s recital following a wine-related confrontation.
During the Carlson sit-down, Barr repeated a shocking conspiracy theory tied to QAnon circles, claiming powerful people in Hollywood were involved in horrifying acts.
“You know they eat babies. That is not bulls—, it’s true,” Barr said at the time.
The former Roseanne star then took the bizarre claim even further, saying, “They are full-on vampires, and everybody still thinks I’m crazy. But I’m not crazy. They’re full-on vampires. They love the taste of human flesh, and they drink human blood. They do.”
Barr also claimed she knew children from mental institutions who came from “those cults,” alleging their stories had been covered up for years.
The remarks stunned some viewers when they were first made, but the resurfaced clip has now sparked a fresh wave of reaction online.
Some commenters dismissed the rant as another wild Barr moment. Others defended her.
“She might be crazy, but she’s not wrong!” one person wrote.
Another added, “As disturbing as that sounds, in our current insane world, anything is possible.”
A third claimed, “She has seen behind the curtain. I believe her.”
The renewed attention comes after Barr revealed she had been thrown out of her granddaughter’s recital in a separate drama-filled incident.
In an Instagram Live video, Barr said she bought “a fine bottle of wine” during intermission and admitted she had “sampled it, of course, just a nip.”
But when she returned to the venue, things allegedly went downhill.
Barr said security had already made her empty her purse into a plastic bag because it was too large and could have contained a weapon. She said the situation left her humiliated because the bag included personal items, including adult diapers.
“I emptied everything into the plastic bag, including my adult diapers — humiliating,” she said.
Barr claimed she then tried to hand the bottle of wine to a security guard and asked him to hold it until the end of the performance.
According to Barr, the guard refused.
The comedian then launched into a rant about the experience, complaining that she could not see during the recital because of someone sitting in front of her.
Barr also talked about wanting to leave Texas and move to Florida.
At one point, she admitted she has her issues.
“I’m damaged, I admit it,” Barr said.
Then she made it clear she had no plans to change her ways.
“And I drink too much, and I’m not gonna stop,” she declared. “I ain’t gonna stop! I’m here to be prude, rude, and otherwise booed.”
The latest controversy is just another chapter in Barr’s long and turbulent public life.
Once one of the biggest names on television, Barr’s career has been marked by stunning highs, ugly scandals, and headline-making outbursts. Her hit sitcom Roseanne made her a household name, but she was later fired from the reboot after a racist tweet sparked massive backlash.
Now, decades after becoming one of America’s most famous TV moms, Barr is still making headlines — only this time, it is for wine rants, conspiracy claims, and a family recital meltdown that has left fans once again asking what she will say or do next.
