Swimmer Seriously Injured in Brutal Fish Attack

A dream swim in the sparkling waters off Italy’s Mediterranean coast turned into a bloody nightmare when a tourist was suddenly attacked by a mystery sea creature.

The 55-year-old Swiss man was swimming near Myosotis Beach in the seaside town of Pioppi when something lurking beneath the surface tore into his leg, leaving him with a deep, bleeding wound.

What started as a peaceful vacation dip quickly spiraled into panic as the injured swimmer reportedly struggled to get himself back to shore while losing blood.

Stunned beachgoers and lifeguards rushed to help as the man emerged from the water with the serious bite injury. Rescuers quickly applied a tourniquet to slow the bleeding before bringing him to a nearby first-aid station.
